Truthfully, I feel taken advantage of by that company, like they just wanted to make a sale, neglecting to properly inspect and diagnose my prior unit. The issues I was having previously have returned. I'm very frustrated and don't want to deal with them again. I should have known better when the responding tech took less than 5 minutes to mutter, "This heater is bad. This is not a good brand," despite my previous heater being only 4 years old. I contacted Coleman's A/C Heating & Appliance Repair seeking a professional who would listen carefully to the issues I'm describing and offer sound advice/solutions on how to proceed. I expected to hear back from Coleman's within a day or two. But my inquiry was responded to quickly. The technician was friendly, listened, and we discussed what could be done to get my hot water going again. It was suggested I contact the company that performed the install since I'm still under warranty. But it was such a negative experience with an inattentive, apathetic tech that I'd rather cut my losses and allow Coleman's to care for my unit. I will follow Coleman's advice. But at the first sign of indifference or rudeness by that other company, I'll call Coleman's out to fix my heater.

This is an ethical company. Top-Notch in my book. The Air…read moreCondition at my mother's home was not cooling. I called all over to find a HVAC company that would come out. We are in the boonies (Vaughan MS). I did not receive a return call from most of their telephone numbers were disconnected. This has been a hot month and my mother has COPD. I finally got a hit on Google for AirSouth in Mendenhall MS. Since I have never heard of Mendenhall I knew this company was going to be too far away. However, I called anyway and left a message. I received a call back directly from (Ashley) I think, very nice lady. She checked the service area and found they do indeed service Vaughan Ms. She scheduled an appointment with me that day, which by the way was a Saturday. The technician Johnathan C. showed up as scheduled, I also received a text message as well as a picture of the technician. I thought that was the best, especially for a single woman living in the country. Johnathan C. can in, quickly diagnosed the problem and quoted me on the repairs/Replacement. He asked if the warranty was registered. Of course I did not know nor have any info on that. Johnathan C. offered to check into this for me. I am a researcher by heart so, In the meantime I checked around for the replacement unit cost. I found the quote was fair for the work to be performed and the cost of the unit. Finding this info. put me at ease with the company and the technician Johnathan C. This is the company I will use for all of my HVAC needed. I feel confident in this company and comfortable that they ARE NOT trying to up-charge me because I am a single woman as so many contractors do.

Honestly, I can't believe I am having to deal with this situation. I have never received such poor…read moreservice and indifference from a company in my life. I purchased a new unit less than 2 weeks ago. The salesman, Joseph, made many promises, none of which have been kept and now my unit does not work at all. It is likely a small issue with the install, electrical, etc... Doesn't matter. This is a $20k unit, and yes I overpaid. I knew it was too much, but I assumed paying a premium would get me premium service - the opposite has happened. I'm on the 2nd day of no A/C and it's 82 degrees today. They have failed to show up THREE times as of right now. I have taken off work and canceled plans to be here, and apparently, they were not even going to tell me they were not coming. I had to call when the appointment window had passed to find out. They claim to have a 1 year "test drive" period in which they take everything out and refund you, but I have no confidence in anything they say. We are about to find out if that's the truth or not. This situation is pathetic and sorry. To charge so much and to have a grown man stand in my living room, look me in the eye and lie to my face about what I should expect is abhorrent and shameful. Please, call someone else. Anyone else. I don't see how it can get much worse than AirSouth.
