This is the second time I have used C&Z for remodeling and renovations. I cannot speak for restorations due to fire or water damage...but I CAN speak for renovation work. We had a second floor and garage addition over 18 years ago from C & Z. Flooring installed in the second floor is still good after all these years and did not need to be replaced. This time around, I contracted for another addition to the side of the house and a kitchen remodel with other work being done to every single room in the house except for one. This was a huge undertaking. Hats off to the crew who did the first remodel as there were 12 people living in the house during that renovation; this time there were only 7 people living through most of the renovation (and a dog) increasing to 9 towards the end of the work. While the crew members changed over the years, Aaron Holbrook was present for both remodels. Trying to remodel and renovate around so many people was challenging and so we are grateful to Jonathan King, Patrick Smith, Ron, Anthony and especially Jason who almost single handedly painted the entire house. The crew had to work around all these people while installing cabinets, flooring, painting, ceiling tiles, framing, etc....The crew was flexible, considerate and courteous. I feel the overall cost of the project was fair for the amount of work that was done both inside and outside of the house. We will be contacting them again for future work. read more

I couldn't be more satisfied with the competence, compassion, professionalism, quality of work and dedication to service and workmanship C&Z afforded after the fire that destroyed my home on 3-3-25. Communication was excellent and the work ethic of the company was reflected in EVERY team member throughout the project. SHADY SHADY SHADY. Will milk your homeowner's insurance while replacing your home with cheap work and items. They came to take the "final" pictures to collect the last insurance check while work still needed done. I had to contact my insurance agent to report and my insurance co held other claim checks until my home was totally finished. This is just a fraction of stories I could complain about this company. Just be checking on them daily and watch everything they do. read more

I genuninely don't know how the people at this company sleep at night. They are QUICK on the scene to prey on your emotional vulnerabilities while your house is literally still burning down and trick you into thinking they are with the fire department and "have to" board up your house. They will then plop a giant sign in your yard and put a lock on your door. Nothing but gross firetruck chasers taking advantage of extremely stressed out people who are watching their homes burn to the ground. 0/100, do not recommend, will be reporting them to the BBB. Be careful. They are quick to come to the rescue when you have a fire but as soon as they complete the shoddy work you will not hear back from them if you have an issue. Had part of my roof replaced, now i have nails popping up everywhere and they are ignoring my issue and not responding to my calls. Next step is small claims court. I highly recommend using C & Z Construction. In 2009 w I highly recommend using C & Z Construction. In 2009, we had a house fire that pretty much destroyed the entire inside of our brick home, between fire, smoke and water damage. They showed up as the fire trucks left which was good since we would not have had a clue where to go or what to do. Aaron Holbrook quickly jumped into action by showing us what to do on saving the pictures on the walls to keep them from sticking to the glass (who would have known), getting the electricity hooked up to keep the freezers going in the garage and securing the house from vandals that break in to steal copper. They rebuilt our home, main floor and finished basement, designing a new kitchen for us which was fabulous, all in about 3 months. Everything looking better than before the fire. We recently used them to replace our carpet in the living room and hallway with new laminate floor. They did a wonderful job and it's beautiful. We woke up one morning thinking about everything but rebuilding our home. Then the unthinkable happened, fire ravaged our home that night. We never heard of C&Z Construction until after our fire. Thank god we met them. They got us back on the road to recovery. They were patient, explained everything, and went above and beyond. Our home has been restored better than ever. Please do not use this company. They bumped my kitchen out- used all subcontractors until we complained. I went 9 months without a kitchen. We had to pay another contractor to fix all their work. They built a floor that was not level in over 36 spots,used old window that did not lock,an old door that leaked, built the cabinets not level. They built a new roof that had no flashing and leaked. The worst part-is that they gave no heat source for the kitchen plumbing that they bumped out. The deck is still warped where is was built incorrectly. The deck was also built 5 feet shorter than the contract. We made the mistake of paying them in advance. Tammy read more

I have now had multiple personal experiences with C&Z Construction. They have taken very good care of me as well as my parents and even my Grandparents. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! From initial contact they take a lot of stress off of your plate in what would otherwise be a very stressful situation (in our case everything from fires to water leaks). I can say confidently that C&Z Construction and their amazing employees have been a silver lining and an insanely positive experience during a particularly difficult/ stressful time for our family, after a fire this past December.   My first encounter with the C&Z was with Matt- he seemed to have the answers that we needed from the very beginning and reassured us that C&Z would be able to meet our needs and provided follow up through the entire process.  Solid props to Zach who handled our contents and even went as far as to coordinate locating some items that were sentimental to me when I thought that they were lost.  From the beginning Jeremey and Darren were present, supportive and responsive to every concern we had, big or small.  They were quick to communicate potential complications and to explain where they were in the process every single way.  I especially appreciate Jeremey's thoughtful insight of what he would want for his home.... when we were overwhelmed with choices/decisions/options for our own home.  We returned home this past week- and were simply blown away with how beautiful the work completed in our home is.  Our home is better than we could have ever hoped to return too.  Special thanks to Hunter, Scott, Ian and Sean.... for making this happen.  There are no words to express the depth of our gratitude for your services and the considerate care that we were treated with from the top down- we will be recommending C&Z to anyone we know, without hesitation.  5 stars simply isn't enough. read more

This company is horrible. Buyer beware! They are dishonest! The guy who runs the company, Gus, is not trustworthy and his company does shady work. They charge you for made up services that they don't complete. This company takes advantage of people who are in difficult situations. read more

We scheduled Bryan to come out to discuss representing us as a public adjuster. He came out and scheduled a follow-up appointment to sign a contract and move forward. He never showed for the appointment and failed to answer text messages or calls about where he was or if he was coming. read more
