After being let down by the overly complicated mess and lack of response my lender at the time was providing I read the reviews on yelp and decided to send Brink a an email just to see what he could offer. I sent the email 11pm and got a phone call then next morning 9am. His customer service, response time, ability to simplify, explain, and answer all questions is second to none. It became a little bit of a joke between my wife and I that I don't think Brink ever took more than 30 min to respond to any email or phone call. He makes you feel like your loan and business is the most important thing going on in the world. For the more technology savvy Brink uses all the latest technologies to make the entire loan process unbelievably easy. He generated and shared a clear and competitive analysis of our refinance options online. All docs were shared via dropbox and signed via eSign. He truly embraces the new way to home financing while maintaining that small town customer service feeling. It took me awhile to write this review after the closing of our refinance because I felt like nothing I could write would do justice to how truly thankful my wife and I were to find someone like Brink to help us through this process. WOW!!! What a refreshing change to the financial industry. Brink Cawley and his associates did an OUTSTANDING JOB getting my home refinanced. I wasted $ trying to refi with my my credit union. They denied it (after collecting app fees & appraisal fees) for no other reason than my wife has a startup that they thought was risky. Then a friend referred me to the Brinkmeister. First of all, he is a really nice guy. I informed him of my recent attempt and told him that I did not want to waste more $. He assured me that if they couldn't help me, it wouldn't cost me a dime. I've played hockey with Brink for years and he was always a great friend and hockey player. Recently, I wanted to refinance my home for a lower interest rate and I was having a lot of problems with the mortgage company I was working with because of issues with my employment. I get laid off periodically because of the workload and I was having a rough time getting approved for the refinance. I purchased my first home this year! I was a little nervous and really didn't know where to start the process. So, I looked online for a mortgage provider with the best rate. Skeptical about calling someone I found "online", I took a leap of faith and called Brink. Brink was completely upfront with me throughout the entire process with updates and no funny business when it came time to close. A funny thing is my own brother was purchasing a house at the same time as me and told me to just go to my bank.... needless to say my brother's rate is .375% higher than mine and he paid about $1000 more in mortgage fees. Brink is extremely knowledgeable about the mortgage business but also the home market and has been a trusted adviser throughout the process of buying and selling a home.
