This place is great! Super fast service, super friendly staff to our special needs child and the food...ALL was so good! Youngest got the Spanish omelette...cleaned his late. I got 3 eggs over med with bacon, tomatoes and avocado...cleaned my plate. Hubby got eggs, sausage, hash browns and pancakes. Ate all but 1/4 of his pancakes (very filling) so youngest ate them. I've been going to Cc's since it first opened with Mr Joe and his granddaughter Brittany. Even though it's been bought out they have kept it the same except for updated look. Which looks amazing. This place is a hidden gem in Tomball. I was visiting a buddy in the woodlands this weekend. He took me the to C Cs for breakfast my first day. We were seated right away . The waitress was very attentive and brought us coffee right away. I had the western omelette with grits a biscuit with a side of sausage gravy. It was excellent. The omelette was very good. The grits were creamy. The biscuit with the sausage gravy made the meal. We came back to C Cs the morning I left to have another wonderful breakfast of eggs hash browns biscuit and sausage gravy. I look forward to going back with I'm in the area. One of my new favorite breakfast places. read more

My friend and I visited Ccs today and were pleasantly surprised. This little hole in the wall place had excellent food. The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent. I tried CC's for the first time on an early Saturday morning and I was very displeased. I didn't dine in and instead pickup up my food and drove home. Upon getting back home I immediately realized what looked like the home fries I had ordered had been sitting for 2 days. They tasted stale and after the first bite I decided to no longer eat them. Seems as if they were old. The omelet was very disappointing. It was full of mushrooms, onions, peppers, and meat but lacked flavor, surprisingly. Tried it out for the first time and was pleased with my visit! Our server was wonderful; very sociable, and gave great recommendations on the menu. Interior had a neat atmosphere, lots of neat paintings to get carried away looking at! Ordered a BBQ burger and the bun admittedly tasted bland like the cheap kinds you find at the grocery store. For cheese it was melted shredded cheese which wasn't bad but not what I expected. The BBQ sauce on the burger was great and the meat was wonderfully grilled which made up for the rest! It's been a couple of years since we came to C C's. They definitely cleaned up the place, new menus, and server was friendly and attentive, even though the place was full. Our food came out hot, coffee was hot and refilled without asking, and they buttered the toast completely (most places don't bother to butter). Husband had the ham and eggs breakfast with sunny side up eggs, was good. Friend had sausage and eggs breakfast with over-easy eggs, eggs were cooked over-medium, otherwise it was good. I had 1 waffle with blueberries, the waffle was undercooked and there was few blueberries, which was only in the center of the waffle. The waffle tasted good, just undercooked. Only suggestions I have are to keep the waffle in the waffle iron another minute or two, and put more blueberries throughout the waffle. Overall, good food and service. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. My family and I went after church for breakfast and waited over an hour for our food to arrive at the table. Mind you it was not a large party, just 3 adults. People left and came, ordered food well after us and recieved their food before we did. The food was really good. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak breakfast and the portion was huge. He said it was really good and there was so much food that he actually had to take some home. He ordered his eggs over medium and they were prepared properly. I got the Spanish omelet. I loved the amount of jalapeños they added. The hash browns were okay, but could have been crispier. The only disappointment was the coffee. The coffee was undrinkable. It was super weak and basically had no flavor. I ordered a glass of water after tasting the coffee and it had a weird taste to it, so I don't know if the issue was the coffee, the water, or a combination of the two. Don't let the old building in a questionable shopping center scare you. The food is amazing. I've been coming here for the past 7 years and my experience is always amazing....sure I've had a few visits where 1 or 2 small things have been off but overall I've been highly satisfied by my experiences here. My personal favorite is the "Hungry Man" breakfast combo which gets you one of there awesome waffles with a side of eggs, bacon, and home fries. Absolutely the worst breakfast I have ever had. We ordered the Felix omelette, which was dry. The veggies were still very crunchy as if they didnt let them grill long enough, and there were just too many. More veggies than egg! The worst thing were the OLD HOME FRIES! They were not soft in texture and very brown, not crispy and soft like most places. I called to inform the manager of the issue and she claims she boxed my bag up and saw nothing wrong. "Our potatoes come brown most times but they are fresh..... we cook the homefries in batches and they sell out.... they couldn't have sat too long." My point exactly! The smell of the place was the 1st thing I noticed. It's like a strong mothball odor...but don't let that stop you. This place has a railroad and oil/gas theme inside with no frills food. They serve breakfast and lunch only. I sampled some of their breakfast items which included the homemade biscuits and gravy with jalapeño sausage gravy on top, the homemade blueberry pancakes and the home fries. They do have breakfast platters which give you a combination of different items, but none of them had pancakes, so I ordered a la carte. The pancakes were good but nothing special. The biscuits and gravy was pretty good and even a little spicy, which was surprising. You could see the chopped up jalapeños in the gravy. The home fries here are chopped up potatoes with onions and were good, similar to ones I make at home. Overall, the service was attentive and friendly.
