wow. To simply put it, there are not many businesses like this one out there anymore. I was in the market for 2 PWC and looking for a specific brand. I called 32 places and finally found them here. From the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left (4 Hours). I was treated with some of the best customer service I have ever witnessed. Carl explained every detail to me about the PWC I was interested in and did not oversell or push me to buy anything extra that I didn't want. During my wait, he even offered to allow me to sit in his office where it was cooler while he worked on other things. The staff was extremely knowledgeable down to every detail. I cannot thank this team enough for their overwhelming service. I am a first time watercraft buyer and they made everything seem like it was a walk in the park. I will be back and I will recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family. The 1.45 hour drive (one way) was worth every second. This place is a joke. They've had my boat for months now. No boat. Took boat in in March. It's now June. Where's my boat????? Do these people even care??? I called to ask when it would be ready several times. Was told "I can't tell you when it'll be ready ". What?? Is it a secret??? Had to call, but it's ready today. June 8th. Want to add that I know it's not the mechanic. It's just the way the whole thing was handled. Poor customer service in my opinion. This is a boat i bought from them. The "make ready" took 6 weeks. Ordered a new weld-craft form Carl, all I can say is he's awesome to work with! I custom ordered my the way I wanted it, talked to other dealers and they never gave me the option about ordering it! I few phone calls later and it was ordered! Went to weld-craft in Arkansas and picked it up. Got a tour on how they are built and all family owned and operated(good folks)! My 14' Jon Boat Trailer became too rusty in March 2024 for me to safely use. My son and I checked marine dealerships from Rockport to Corpus Christi even to San Antonio. No one had a new or old Jon Boat Trailer. I saw an advertisement for CH Marine in Livingston, TX showing more than one trailer available. On July 23rd, my fishing partner Herman, 81, and I traveled 5 hours to CH Marine in Livingston from Rockport to pick up the new trailer. Carl Hatcher had the new trailer and sales papers ready to go. I wrote the check, and we traveled 5 hours in the rain back to Rockport. We had to make some adjustments to the bunks to fit my 1995 Weld Craft Jon Boat. Bought our Pontoon approximately2 years ago, better deal here than surrounding Boat dealerships. Noticed a issue with a seal leaking into oil, took it In the Saturday before Easter weekend and was told we wouldn't get it back until after Easter, backed up two weeks. We were bummed out to say the least. However they got the part in and we got the call today (Saturday) day before Easter telling us it's ready!! Wooohooo they made it happen for us. I don't normally write reviews, but can't resist this time. We recently (and somewhat unexpectedly) purchased a boat and two jet skis at C&H. There was no pushing or persuasion involved other than friendly banter and welcoming personalities. Man, oh man! Carl, Keith, Lisa and team made the whole buying experience incredibly smooth, pleasant, and dare I say enjoyable. As first time boat owners, not only are we completely satisfied with our purchase and feel like we got a fair deal, but left feeling like part of the C&H family. They held the boat (covered and in safe storage) for us until we were ready to take delivery nearly a month later. Upon each delivery, the technicians were friendly, helpful, and (specifically for the boat) they even took us out on the water to give a full overview of it's capabilities, do's, and don'ts. The boat delivery was slightly delayed, but only because it was not "clean enough" for Carl and the delivery technician's liking. So, they had a last minute cleaning performed before delivery. Needless to say, and given the experience we've had so far, I feel very confident to say that we are in good hands with C&H if ever anything has need for repair or service.
