Because of those delays, service ultimately never happened before my legal timeline. I was also not clearly informed upfront about an expedited service fee being required, I guess due to the delay with the first invoice for location services. I ended up paying a large amount of money for them to "locate" the party at the same residence I had already personally identified. Communication was also an issue. I went 2 business days plus the weekend without any update about whether the individual had been served, even though I had a deadline approaching. It was not until after this deadline and on the 3rd business day that I was notified with an update. Then had to wait an additional day to receive a report. After reviewing the report, I was even more concerned. The report claims eight service attempts between February 12 and February 18 but repeatedly states "no movement was observed" at the residence and that the investigator waited outside and then left. It documents a vehicle in the driveway but provides no meaningful proof that a genuine service attempt occurred -- for example, no documentation of the investigator exiting the vehicle, approaching the door, or any clear effort showing contact with an occupant. In other words, I paid a significant amount of money, lost valuable legal time, received minimal communication, and did not get successful service, or even a report that would qualify for substitution service. A waste.

Paid the fee upfront, nearly $1400, and after 30 days, sent an email asking how long it would take. No response. The next day I received what looked like a halfhearted attempt to compile some info together, which was really just screen shots of the same info I already provided. I let Tim know I was not satisfied with the results, and he said give him a couple of days to get back to me. Nothing. Save your money, do your own internet search and you'll get the same information a lot faster.
