Very bad manicure, he didn't use oil on my cuticles so pushing back hurt. I had the one guy in there. The ladies are good, and she started me with the pedicure, but they were in a rush to get me out since they were overbooked, and had the guy do my hands. No hand massage or lotion, and he rushed me out before polish was dry. Of course I ruined it on the steering wheel. Toe Polish was recked by shoes too, so I think they had the product watered down with Polish remover. It just wouldn't dry. Big mess. read more

I went there because my friend recommended it.. well horrible experience. To start, The lady who did my nails gave me attitude the entire time. I let it go because maybe she was having a bad day. I had acrylics on and I asked for a fill. She shaved the powder down so short that I just said nevermind I guess just take them off please and we'll do gel. She ripped them off so my real nail also came off with it. therefore, i had a bunch of different nail lengths. She didn't make them even and then began putting the gel on. Now that it is not even a week later 4 of my nails have the gel breaking off. I've had gel plenty of times and this has NEVER happened to me. I made an appointment for a pedicure, this was my first visit here. The staff is very welcoming, the business is immaculately clean and the woman who did my pedicure was very nice. They have a really great polish selection here, with options for regular polish, gel polish and nail art. All of the tools were opened in front of me, and the footbath was freshly lined with a plastic wrap which I thought was a nice extra precaution. The best part (for me) is that the staff is non-judgemental. I have not had the time for a pedicure in quite a while and I know my feet were a mess. Not once did the worker cringe or make any indication of being grossed out (I would have been grossed out, and they're my feet!). Also, a mom brought her young son in so he could have a pedicure, and no one was judgemental about that either. Everyone was polite to him and even fun. While it is sometimes hard to get past the accent to understand what is being said to you, there is no way to get confused about the staff being warm and inviting. Great place for a pedicure. Got one in May for my friend's wedding and it lasted until the beginning of July. Just went there last night with my mom and it was just a great experience again. It doesn't smell like heavy fumes, and their massage chairs are great. The employees are very nice and take their time and effort in doing your nails. A pedicure is only $25! Great place. read more

I went here to have my lip waxed this past weekend. They didn't cleanse the area before, or treat it afterward, like they had in previous visits. I had gone in with more than two months of growth, so there shouldn't have been any problems. Luckily my facial hair is blonde..... Because when I got home, I found that entire strips of hair were untouched. I had used a gift certificate on this visit, and even have a balance left on it.... But I won't be back. read more

This place is immaculately clean, and the prices are great. They use brand new tools, that they take out of the package in front of your eyes. Ask for Lou..... she is so sweet, and made my errand relaxing and enjoyable. I will never be going back to CK. I got a pedicure which turned out nice, but there must have been something wrong with the gel polish they used on my nails. I have been getting gel manicures for eight years and have never had this happen before. The day after I had my nails done, they turned completely brown, almost black. Thinking I touched something, I filed them down, but then it came back. I think their polishes are old, that's the only thing I can think of as to why that would happen. I've had good gel manicures since at other mail salons, so I just won't go back to CK. read more

The first two times I went, my experience was average. The dip polish lasted as expected. Went in last Monday, after calling ahead, and they told me when I got there they couldn't accommodate a dip mani. So I opted for gel. I've had gel done for years and I know what to expect. First, the lady kept using the electric sander and she was hurting me. I said it hurt and was getting very hot and she responded "no, it's ok". Umm?? Pain is not ok. She cut my cuticles way too much and I have cracks in them now. Continued pain- not cool. Last, the gel looks like crap. Within 2 days it was chipping and coming off. That's not right. My nails are all breaking as well. I would not recommend this place. read more

I would give this place 3 1/2 stars. The pros: the place is very clean and the staff very friendly, I made an appointment, showed up a bit early and was taken right away. The pedicure itself was very good, but that leads me into the cons. The cons: I scheduled an appointment for a spa pedicure but instead received a regular pedicure. It was very quick which was quite disappointing and my leg and foot massage lasted no longer than a minute. On their website, it states a spa pedicure takes an hour (which I know I didn't receive), and a regular pedicure is anywhere between 30-45 minutes... I was in and out in 25 minutes -_- there isn't a huge selection of colors - lots of reds and pinks, and darker colors, but not many spring and summer colors. Overall, it's nice place, clean, and not too expensive, but my relaxing pedicure seemed a bit rushed. If I return I will make sure to just come to get a regular pedicure. read more

CK Nails moved from Northtown Plaza to a new location at 1060 Niagara Falls Blvd about a year ago. While I never visited the old location, I loved checking out their new spot for the first time yesterday! From the outside, it is almost easy to miss CK Nails as it's in a small plaza in a sea of never ending plazas and strip malls. However, upon stepping inside, this place is definitely unique! It's very clean, beautifully decorated, and all the equipment appears to be new. There is a good selection of normal polish and gel polish as well as a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall across from the pedicure chairs. I stopped in for a traditional pedicure and a gel manicure around 4pm. I was taken right away and received very friendly service throughout my entire visit. While I would have liked a little bit more scrubbing on my heels (damn calluses), my pedicure still turned out great and my feet are much smoother. The gel manicure was fast and my nails are evenly shaped and polished to perfection. At only $55 (not including tip) for both of these services, I would absolutely return. Easy parking, friendly staff, and quality services at affordable prices... what more could you ask for? :) read more

I LOVE this place! I have been here several times now for a pedicure and gel manicures. My gel manicures have lasted 2+ weeks without any chips. That has NEVER happened to me before until coming here. The staff is super friendly and professional and they do a fantastic job. It is very clean here and the pedicure chairs are super comfortable with great massage settings. Tons of options of both gel colors and regular colors. I highly recommend this spot! read more
