The employee from KBD who came and finished the job for us and fix the mess left by Henry's Painting & Contracting was appalled by what he saw. They used PARTICLE BOARD to build our cupboards! Their crew left a pile of their trash on our deck for us to clean up. They also ruined my step stool when they left it covered in paint, because apparently they couldn't bring their own step stool??? They were supposed to replace my step stool and of course that didn't happen. They have removed my pictures before so I am posting them again so others can see for themselves and make a well informed decision about if they want to give their hard earned money to this unscrupulous company. Lastly, after all the delays, lies and poor work, they kept $7500 of our money that we paid in advance for the kitchen remodel which they refused to finish. We needed cellular blinds for a very wide window of 129". Janine (owner of H-9) never told us that…read morethis shade would be too heavy to lift from the bottom up. Thus, the blind won't lift as it's broke. The plastic end caps on the part that holds the blinds broke. The pull cord broke, was installed incorrectly and it cost $211 TO REPLACE ONE CORD. The person was sent to us by J-9 with no warning of the ridiculous cost. One bedroom blind fell apart before one year. I don't know how people like this stay in business. J-9 had a responsibility to warn us of how the weight of the blind would cause problems. However, I have come to believe that with businesses, money is always more important than quantity work, quality materials, and honest advice/people. Never would I recommend them.
