The jajajancafe offers visitors a list of other vegan locations in and around the Merida area which is a fantastic resource for traveling vegans. The Acai bowl pictured was really good. Perhaps even one of the best I've had. Don't miss out on the cookies or the vegan Oaxaca cheese in the drink cooler. Wow. I've had a lot…read moreof bad espresso in Merida, and a lot of simply mediocre espresso in Merida. But until I discovered Latte Quattro Sette, no great espresso. Great espresso and other classical coffee drinks (no froufrouchinos here). Excellent baked goods -- pastries, muffins, cookies. Fresh fruit and avocado toasts. Paninis and Italian-style sandwiches served in a pleasant, light-washed space with really good wifi and a very friendly staff. Italy or Merida? Hard to tell, but a great find in either location. And especially welcome here where there are a lot fewer options for great coffee than in Rome or Naples.
