That is until a friend told me about Dr. Ridgway. I met with her and discussed it all. Dr. Ridgway even had phone calls with my surgeon in Texas to discuss how they would proceed. I have been seeing Dr. Ridgway for the expansion and just had my final reconstruction surgery this month. She has been nothing but amazing throughout the whole process. She is professional, and kind, and so is her staff. An OR nurse said to me that Dr Ridgway is meticulous, and that was the best thing to hear going into surgery because I knew she cared and would be precise. I should've listened to my gut. I went in for loose skin on my abdomen (excessive swelling during pregnancy, not weight loss) and a hip/butt reduction and/or thigh lift for loose skin. She said I didn't need the skin removed all the way around my abdomen, just the front. I trusted her expertise. Sadly, I have a skin mullet. It's tight in the front and muffin top from my pelvic bones back. She could've taken another 2 inches of skin from around my waist. When I lay down my skin flares out, so she definitely saw it in the operating room. There's a bulge and wave on one side of my stomach. She stitched it like that. The thigh lift is ok, but isn't great. I expected a much better result, but she did minimal work there and you can see lipo lines. You'll barely see her after the surgery. She came in for 30 secs at the first follow-up then had the nurse handle it. Both surgeries will need to be redone.

They told me it was because of pregnancy. Come to find out, I have 0 cavities on my bottom row. The fillings moos had put in have been falling out, and I went to go get one refilled this morning. They told me that so much of my tooth had been drilled I now require a crown. They have destroyed my mouth. They scammed a young new mother on Medicaid because they could. Now years later I have to pay $1200 to put a crown in on a tooth that didn't even have any cavities to begin with, just got drilled to hell for no reason. Carolyn was reassuring, & she mentioned that if I needed a crown on another tooth, that it takes just one visit: I found that to be a game-changer for me (after spending multiple visits at another local dental practice over 2 months for ONE crown which failed, resulting in a very expensive root canal from a local endodontist)! I made the appointment, & recall telling Carolyn that it was because of her that I was doing so. I feel very strongly about excellent customer service & found Carolyn to be exceptional. As I told Dr. J. Max Wasserburger about what led me to seek this second opinion from him, I cried. After listening to me, reviewing all my x-rays, & examining my teeth, he reassured me that my teeth were not in the dire condition that I had been led to believe. Dr. Wasserburger is not only an excellent dentist, he's an artist! I asked him if he could use composite to fill in the worn areas on several teeth to protect & restore them before I get aligners or braces. What he did was AMAZING! I never expected to feel MORE confident over having these done, but I do, & his work looks fabulous--completely restored! It has made me feel HAPPY, & that is priceless. I've also had the remaining metal fillings removed & replaced with composite, & it feels so much better: The reason I needed two crowns in the first place was because my metal fillings had caused both of those teeth to crack & age prematurely. My crown experience with Dr. Wasserburger was FUN: The entire procedure for a permanent crown start-to-finish was complete in about 2 hours, & I even got to watch the crown being made! I have had some great dentists over the years, but Dr. Wasserburger is by far the BEST! If you need any kind of dental work, I highly recommend Hays Dental Group: Everyone you meet will make you feel welcome & glad that you're there.
