I called and he was like "yeah, we're busy, standard Monday morning stuff, can we come at 10?" No, you made an appointment with me to bid on a job, didn't show up or call. Doesn't bode well for work ethic or project management. If you can't manage your calendar and keep in contact with customers at this stage, there is zero trust that you would do so for an actual project. Shameful. Edit: am attaching photos of the series of text messages the owner sent me 10 minutes after I posted this review. Completely unprofessional.

As the project progressed, so did changes and modifications. He seemed eager and more than willing to accept the changes. Time went on, money flowed but the work diminished drastically. He didn't 100% complete any singular task. The most recent draw accompanied zero additional work completed. He received that draw and ended up on a vacation that "went a little over," so he couldn't show up until the following week. We voiced concerns numerous times which he would defend with threatening language and responses. After realizing that he was not going to meet the timeline with the diminishing days on site, we had a meeting where he walked off the project.

Don't expect quality product, installation or customer service. Disgraceful…read more They weren't the solid wood cabinets I wanted and paid for. HE didn't think the ones I wanted were "fancy enough". I didn't want fancy. He cut corners on some of the construction and installation - cut boards under sink too short. He promised to do everything he could to make it right. Instead he talked down to me, as if he was talking to a fool. I'm not. He said if you take a door outside lay it on the ground and gets rained on enough, it'll fall apart. Duh? Everybody knows that. He continued saying that if my handicapped daughter's cabinets got wet over a period of time, they'd fall apart. My 60yr old solid wood cabinets get cleaned often. They aren't falling apart. He installed a cabinet over the dryer that was too big. He knew it. Doors couldn't be installed until it was corrected. He installed FIRST, then came next door to get me to see it. He knew it was wrong. He then told me that he could fix it. That caused damage to my ceiling. Professional? Dishonest "Christian" man. Do better.

I have worked with John and Deborah, his wife, for several years. If there is one thing they know,…read moreit is kitchen and bathroom designs, and the remodeling. John is very passionate about his craft and his ability to direct the customer through the project process. Deborah is an absolute artist when it comes to her 2D and 3D designs. They are both EXTREMELY knowledgeable when it comes to what the industry has to offer in cabinetry, vanities, and countertop materials. As aforementioned, John's passion for what he does is often confused with what at times might be interpreted as a brassy personality, but I assure you it is valid and simply his desire for delivering his customers with the best product fit, along with the best quality design. I correlate John's personality to that of a doctor. John will answer the questions asked and reserve his thoughts until an additional answer is required. Is he opinionated? OH YES! John does not mince words, and his honesty, along with his forwardness, is often misinterpreted as accusatory or arrogant, and I assure you it is not. Can he be a curmudgeon? It may appear to be so, Ha-Ha, but people with a passion for what they do, and for their craft, and for their life experiences, are often confused with someone unapproachable, maybe even arrogant. John is not that! John is a man of integrity who cares about his reputation in the marketplace, and I would stand with him and Miss Deborah 100% and back Artistic Kitchens and Designs to be trusted as a reputable company. In today's society, it is very easy to take offense that is unjustifiable! Unfortunately, anyone these days that face any adversity considers it an offense. Be your own judge. If you want a storehouse of knowledge in kitchen and bath design, Artistic Kitchens and John and Deborah Wilson are a go-to in Moore County.

The owner Mr. John Wilson of Artistic Kitchens and Baths made several mistakes and errors which he would not accept responsibility for his mistakes and errors which resulted additional costs for me to assume. During our discussions on these additional costs as a result of his mistakes and errors, he would often become very hostile, argumentative and go into explosive rages. During one of his rage moments, he made a personal attack on on me. I would like to share this personal attack and I will quote what he said to me: "You are a typical Northern and you should go back up North with all the other Northern people where you all belong"!!!! This was not very professional and was uncalled for! To my fellow Pinehurst Country Club Members: You all know me (Mike Rospert) and I would encourage all of you to contact me before considering doing business this company. I will also be posting this review of Artistic Kitchens & Baths to the Pinehurst Country Club Member/Member Website so all members can see my review. I also agree whole heartly with Molly T and LM's reviews on this business (Artistic Kitchens & Baths & Mr. John Wilson.
