Highly underrated! For a vacation spot in a high rise condo it's great! Staff is super friendly. We had the fried shrimp last night which was great with their Tatar sauce. Huge bonus - their old fashions are fantastic and the best deal in the area. (Coming from Ky native) Then tonight had the cheeseburger with mushrooms and bacon. Upside.. $14.99 includes choice of cheese and two toppings. Got the homemade kettle chips with their homemade cilantro / heaven dip. It's close to a ranch but wayyyyy better!! It's crack! And theirs live music. Actually they are known for the pizza, which I'll try next. But seriously.. 4 pieces of bacon on the burger? Hell yeah.. read more

The live music was great. Sax man was on point. He was loud which didn't bother us but it did turn some folks around at the door because it was too loud. Anyway, we had the Woodie pizza and it was great! Server dude Hunter was on point even with the place being pretty slammed!!! The old fashions were tasty as well!!! My family are on vacation in Destin and we went here Sunday evening. What an amazing place. Tucked away in a private condominiums block but you can drive in and the parking attendant will give you a flyer that you can put on your car for free parking. First of all the food was delicious. The chicken wings with Asian glaze were the best I've ever had! My daughter had the chicken Caesar wrap and my wife had the French dip sandwich. The starter we all shared was the broccoli cheddar bites. Again the best I have ever tasted. The last thing was the live music. The guy with the saxophone and keyboard played the most eclectic songs, from Ray Charles, to Frankie goes to Hollywood! There were people dancing too. Great overall entertainment. A hidden gem. If you are in. Town you must visit. Good for kids too. read more

Place was fine, what I expected it to be I try to cash out after my two drinks and see they charged me for four drinks. Sorry I came by myself and didn't meet their standards I guess where they try and double charge me. They hopefully corrected it but waiting to see the charge come off my card. read more

The cuban sandwich was very tasty. I also tried the bbq nachos, which were amazing as well. Our waiter did take a bit to refill our drinks but she was literally the only waitress working at lunch hour so it was understandable. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Our table got chef salad and pizza. Chef salad is massive with large amount of toppings - especially meat. Pizza was good as well and tasted more of the homemade variety. Had local guitar player get on stage around 7pm. Was a Tuesday during off season so not a ton of people. Server was nice and for the most part prompt. We had a great time at this spot while on vacation in Destin. We ended up going on Saturday night where they had live music and let me tell you.... These people can sang(not sing, but sang) and people were not afraid to get on the dance floor, I havent had so much fun in forever. We ordered a medium pizza and a rum punch, my sister had a few beers and we had a good time. Prices were great and by the end of the night our server was like a long lost relative lol. If you are staying at the Ariel Dune, this is definitely the spot for a great time. read more

Excellent food! We had the Chicken Marsala & beef medallions in Port wine sauce. Everything that came on the entree was very good. Service was good. There was a sign saying they were short staffed, but our server did an excellent job. We arrived before the music started at 8:00 pm, so it was a nice relaxing meal. We will definitely be back to try the pizza!! read more

Go for the live music not the food! I had a cheeseburger and it had no flavor and was mushy. The service wasn't any better than the food and nobody seems to really care about how poorly this place runs. I typically give a place like this a 2nd try but not gonna happen! read more

We have dined here on two trips to Miramar Beach and will dine here again if ever back in the area. This restaurant/cafe doesn't look like much since it's attached to Arial Dunes at Seascape, but it's got a lot of character. Live music was always top notch. Great atmosphere! Most of the beach bars close early so people know where to come to dance through the night. We have ordered pizza here on more than one occasion and it was tasty and hearty! read more

On vacation looking for a place open late to just hangout for the night! Found the Cabana Cafe online and decided to check it out. Live music, great atmosphere, lots of people hanging out having fun. Corbin and Blake were AMAZING and so fun. I got a fabulous virgin mojito and my man got some bourbon. We chatted, laughed, and listened to the music. Got a Greek pizza add chicken. It was 10/10. We love this spot. Great bartenders, beer and drink selections. Varied menu and decent food. I've yet to have a bad meal there. Their pizza is very good but sometimes a bit too much cheese, believe it or not. It can be very crowded but it's worth the wait. They have an outdoor seating area too. Lots of TV with sports on typically. Live music on weekends. You'll have to stop at the guard shack to get a car pass. Plenty of parking. read more

Slow horrible service waited an hour for what turned out to be a cold sandwich. Tried it once never again, I prefer a Wendy's to this place. Unfortunately it was raining and we were staying in the same building that this mess is located in. After an hour we canceled my sons order a burger, over an hour wait for a burger!!! read more

Went in at 7PM on a Wednesday with a group of 8. Restaurant was empty besides one other table of approximately 6. No music or ambiance was there. The waitress seemed annoyed that we came in, but took our orders. It took about 20 minutes, no big deal. Maybe she was having a bad night. The food came out and tasted mediocre or below. A relative ordered a steak cooked at medium and when he cut in, it was well done, and an entire side was burnt to a crisp. He took one bite and couldn't eat it, and called the waitress and asked her to take it back. She seemed annoyed by this. This was all within 3-5 minutes of the steak arriving to the table. The manager came out with the steak and plate in hand approximately a couple minutes later and said something along the lines of, "excuse me sir. I just wanted to let you know that we'll take this off your bill, but next time please don't eat most of the steak prior to returning it if there's a problem." - something ridiculous similar, but not word for word accurate but about 95% correct. The restaurant not only has cameras, but the timeframe doesn't make sense. If the manager just spent more than a minute to actually investigate, he would've seen that only 1 small bite was taken because he didn't want to originally complain and be "that" customer. We all ended up paying and leaving soon after. Customer service was extremely poor and the handling done by staff was shameful. Food alone was great but could've been dealt with. Our family has a chain of restaurants with over 20 years of customer service, so we have more than an idea on how to treat people with respect, especially since we never instigated or mistreated any staff member or were obnoxious. I'd give it 0 stars if I could but whatever. read more

The food I actually pretty good, and so it the service. However, the restaurant is dirty. The floor always has dropped food and crumbs on it. The lady's restroom is not very clean. Only one toilet has worked for weeks. read more

We stayed at Ariel Dunes 1 and we ate here twice during our stay. Service was great food was great! When other places were taking forever just for us to eat they would have our food ready in less than 30 minutes! We had burgers one night and shrimp baskets the next highly recommend either! read more

We waited for an hour in a half to get our dinner, and when it came out the person who was paying for the dinner treating his family; the food was cold. He ended up jsut leaving and we ate without him. He left his plate with one bite taken out and they wouldn't reimburse us for his meal at least. We were all tired worn out and hungry. If you're looking for a hotel bar with bar food vibe, then this would probably be fine. The restaurant side however, has much to improve. Jumbo pretzel appetizer came out still frozen in the middle. Hamburgers were overly well done and dry, and buns were burnt. Perhaps inexperienced cook with little training/supervision? The good parts: cheese curd appetizer was good. Sweet potato fries side were tasty. Our waitress was very sweet. All in all...Sub par food with high price point for what you get. This Cafe is located within Tower I of the resort. They are open till 2am which I thought was impressive. We tried a variety of their fish and chicken wraps, burgers, and pizza. Everything that we got was good and decently priced. The pizza lacked flavor though and won't get that again. If you are looking for convenience and decent Cafe style food, this is a good place to start. read more

I ordered calamari and a side salad (which was really just burger toppings on a plate). they do offer a few unique cocktails. so, if you want to eat and/or drink by the water, Whale's Tail is great! if you're looking for great food and service.... maybe look a little further.

Nice sized fish & the Cole slaw is good here, almost fruity. It came with a ton of fries that were cooked well. The bread is soft & the tartar sauce went well with it The crabs were cooked perfectly and so sweet. I almost wish we'd have gotten an extra cluster for $18. It's always busy at this place. They told us 35 mins for the wait but it took maybe 20. It filled up as we left though. They have a gift shop and beach access to entertain you while you wait + a loud speaker so you can hear them call for you. The lot is across the street and it fills up as there's other businesses here but usually someone leaves within 5-10 mins so just have someone get on the wait and then go find a spot if you have more than 1 person
