Today's special Tripletail on beans and rice.

We had a great time here with family just after Christmas. The food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the shrimp and shrimp salad sandwich. For our non-seafood lovers, the burger was excellent and the grilled cheese was great for our kids. Great live music (Saturday and Sunday only I think).

Had a great birthday lunch today, October 24th. It was not too busy. It's in a great location you can only get to by boat. There is a ferry from Pine Island. The place has dollar bills all over the place very unique . The cabbage creeper and the burger were really good. The golden margarita was great. The service was great and no wait but again it's not high season. The waitress Becky from Georgia from over the top friendly and provides great service with an upbeat attitude. The burger comes with either potato salad or coleslaw. We got the potato salad and it was good.

Friends and I took the Captiva Cruise Boat to Cabbage Key for lunch. Awesome trip and a fantastic lunch, we had seafood chowder, their signature cheese burger and blackened fish with rice and beans. All delicious! Best of all was their specialty drink Cabbage Creeper (like a piña colada only better). Our server was Taylor she was so enthusiastic, you could tell she loves her job. Be sure and bring a few Dollar Bills to write your name on and hang on the resturant walls. Cabbage Key walls are covered with what is believed to be over $100k, in One Dollar Bills. Each year the money that falls from the walls and ceiling is 100% donated to a charity. Remember Cabbage Key is only accessible by boat. What a beautiful place!

My husband and I were staying on the island and enjoyed several meals in the restaurant. Our server for many of them was Ariana who provided outstanding customer servivce. We were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary and Ariana's bright energy and attention to detail made our celebration wonderful....topping off our meal with a special anniversary dessert. Compliments to the chef for fun and creative seafood dishes (grouper with tomato shrimp sauce, stone crab adventure and triple tail with a creamy garlic sauce) Of course we had to leave our $1 on the wall commemorating our exquisite trip. We will definately be back!!!

The food is pretty good 8/10 and even as Jimmy Buffet once wrote about it "Cheeseburger in Paradise," the emphasis here is on "paradise." One really feels exclusive and privileged to be here amongst the turtles, osprey and palm trees swaying in the ocean breeze on an island with so long of a history. The staff know it, and it shows. They are proud to be part of that history and serve to enhance the experience. If you get the chance to visit, TAKE IT!

Cabbage key was a really cool place to stop in and have lunch /dinner. They are open for all 3 meals, but have a break between each so check times before coming. We all ordered cheeseburgers and cabbage creeper drinks. The food was good as well as the drinks, nothing too special but it was good for lunch. As for the building itself it is really cool with indoor and outdoor seating. The walls are absolutely covered in visitors dollar bills which is really cool. They have a gift shop as well and areas to walk around to see the turtles and ducks and othrr wildlife. You can only get here by boat don't forget but itd definitely worth a stop in! Make sure to get reservations on nice days out especially for dinner as they get very busy.

Fun full day excursion to Cabbage Key. Everyone remarks the prices are $$$ and yes they are BUT keep in mind that everything is brought in via boat. There are no roads. The food is good and that's not always the case for a destination. They do a great job. The service was stellar and the place was packed. They can certainly improve the sound system and choose of music. That part was a disappointment. The beans and rice was everything they claim to be - awesome. The key lime was good but I'd say it's more key lime icy....it was good.

The only place on the key to eat. Jimmy buffet wrote cheeseburger in paradise for the staff after he came here. Pretty cool place. Small menu but I like that. I started with clam chowder. Really really good! Thick and creamy. I got the rueben and Deb got the cheeseburger. Had to right!? Rueben was piled high and very tasty but the burger tasted awesome. Like it had just came off a charcoal grill in the backyard. Really nice and brought back good memories of grilling out on charcoal. I took a star cause I thought our server really didn't want to be working today and it showed.

Stopped here for lunch this weekend with some friends. Everyone loved it! I had the Mahi sandwich, my husband had the burger and our friends had the special - a triple tail sandwich. We also shared the fish dip which was to die for. The weather was nice so we took advantage of their outdoor seating. The staff do wear masks and offer hand sanitizer as well. I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good bite to eat on the water.

When we walked in, the place was hot and uncomfortable, as if the A/C wasn't working. We sat down anyway and ordered water, only to be told there was no ice available. We both ordered the same breakfast sandwich -- an everything bagel with sausage, egg, and American cheese -- along with a half order of biscuits and gravy. After waiting 39 minutes, the food finally came out, and it was wrong across the board. The sandwiches were served on croissants, and we were told you didn't have American cheese. My wife pointed out the mistake, and her plate was taken back. I kept mine because of how long we had already waited. When her replacement sandwich came out, it was on a plain bagel. When she reminded the server she ordered an everything bagel, she was told she could "put everything bagel seasoning on it herself." At that point, we decided to leave. The server told my wife the biscuits and gravy were removed from the bill -- which was the only thing handled correctly during the entire visit. We left frustrated, hungry, and disappointed. I am requesting a full refund for this visit. The level of service, accuracy, and professionalism we experienced does not match the reputation or the number of positive reviews your café has. I want you, as the owner, to be aware of how poorly this visit was handled.

Anyone looking to support a quiet waterfront community should certainly consider this gem. Parking in navigation can sometimes be tricky. So consider utilizing the paid parking and security offered by the Pineland Marina Safe Harbor next-door. The twisty windy Road past the historic post office, the Randall research center, and all the grounds of this archaeological treasure trove is worth the drive. But I would not encourage anybody to bike or walk due to limited unsafe pathways and frequent flooding. But once you find your sweet parking spot and don't have to worry about anything. Have lunch at the tarpon Lodge and then walk all through the community of pineland and gaze upon this country club-esque neighborhood that is anchored by an abandoned golf course. Local wildlife is rebounding in this potential preserve. Bird watches especially have opportunities to check rare sightings off of their ornithology list. Including spring time elusives like the Chuck Wills Widow nightjar, white pelicans, juvenile bald eagles looking for their life mates, pileated woodpeckers and so much more. And if you're lucky and you play your cards right, a local might give you a couple fishing tips and some secret spots. So always have a fishing pole and bait ready.

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Naples -- Don't Sleep on This Place!…read more I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing -- the outside patio was at full capacity. I asked for a seat at the bar, and even though space is very limited, the staff went above and beyond to find me one. That kind of effort on a packed afternoon says a lot about this team. The bartender was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and somehow managed to make every single person at that busy bar feel like they were the only guest in the restaurant. The whole staff carried that same energy. They were also wonderfully descriptive about the daily specials and menu offerings, which made ordering a pleasure rather than a guessing game. I decided to try the crab cake, and I'm so glad I did. I grew up on the East Coast eating crab, and I've had my fair share -- I've long held that Phillips in Maryland made the gold standard. I am happy to report that Captain & Crew has dethroned them in my book. This crab cake was pure lump crab meat, not overpowered by fillers or seasoning. You could actually taste the crab. The accompaniments they served alongside it elevated the whole dish even further. Thoroughly impressed. The wine pairings were equally well-curated. I took the staff's recommendations and they absolutely nailed it. A heads-up for first-timers: parking is the one small challenge. There's no convenient lot right there, so you may need to use a parking garage and walk over. Honestly? Embrace it. If you're already in Downtown Naples, it's a beautiful stroll that perfectly sets the mood before you arrive. Captain & Crew is a true hidden gem. Many people come for the fresh seafood market, but don't overlook the restaurant side -- it's absolutely worth your time. Highly recommend.

Our server was also the bartender (Jordan) who was extremely welcoming and super friendly. We told her it was our first time there and she gave us the rundown about the menu and some of the local favorites. We got a coconut shrimp appetizer which was delicious and my blackened grouper Caesar salad was beyond divine. I'm so glad I went with that fish option over the mahi. The grouper was extremely fresh, and the portion size was huge! My husband ordered the mahi-mahi Neuben (I.e. Ruben) which he said was surprisingly good! We also tried a few of the signature cocktails, which to my surprise came in tiki glasses! I absolutely love when a drink comes in fun glassware! Our experience at lunch was so great that we raved about it to our family. Which resulted in us coming back the very next day, but for dinner. We had 24 people in our party! I don't think that we would've been able to do this during peak season so if you're looking to bring a large group, definitely go off - season! Our server for the 24 person dinner with Sam and she was also beyond wonderful! She was our only server and somehow managed to wrangle a table full of chatty adults and six children! Kudos to her! Everything we ordered came out amazing! I absolutely loved the Maine Lobster Salad! Came with a huge portion of lobster, which, for the price was really great! The restaurant has an absolutely wonderful ambience and we were so impressed with the experience, the staff and the food considering this was our first time visiting. They're a bit tucked away inside of a private resort, but since they're open till the public, they do have appropriate signage for the location and it's pretty easy to find.
