I hired Lauren to do my hair for my wedding and she and her colleague Zoey did my hair, my 5 flower girls' hair, two of my bridesmaids, my mother, my aunts and my sister-in-laws' hair all in impeccable timing and quality for the wedding. While I found that Lauren is an incredibly busy woman and sometimes hard to get a hold of (because she's so good at what she does) when it comes to crunch time, she does a beautiful job, is a delight to work with and goes above and beyond at making sure you are happy with the end result. She listened to what I wanted and worked with me until we got it right and even gave me great ideas for my bridal party. I highly recommend her and her staff. She's phenomenal.

I was told I had to get 6 packets of hair extensions which cost about 900€. I expressed that I didn't want that much hair and was only looking to get 3 or 4 packets max. She told me that it wouldn't blend if I didn't get 6. My hair wasnt even that long or thick. She used 5 full packets and only 3 bonds out of the last packet and still charged me for all 6. I didn't even want to get that much hair. she also cut into my hair to blend them which looked awful when I removed the extensions. they were way too thick and heavy and not what I wanted. It felt like she didn't really care and just wanted to get me out of the chair as soon as possible. I went back a week later to get some of the bonds removed as it was far too heavy and it wouldn't even stay up in a ponytail. She seemed annoyed that I came back and came across quite rude. The quality of the hair is very good but I felt I was mislead and taken advantage of. When I went to another extension salon to get them removed and new extensions refitted, I was told that I did not need anywhere near as much hair as they put in and that I only needed 3 packets. I won't be returning to platinum and it is a shame I wasted so much money there.

The building is cosy and convenient to get to, with comfortable seating if you have to wait & a fair few magazines to peruse if you left your reading materials at home. The back massagers on the seats where they shampoo your hair. Aw yes. Stay away from this salon unless you are willing to be over charged. Also I left a review on their facebook stating I love the colour of my hair but felt pricing and having to ask for itemised receipt was wrong. I am now blocked from all their social media as that is obviously the way they deal with complaints.
