Unfortunately, I've had to visit this hospital several times over the past few years due to my elderly mother's declining health. Some were just ER visits and others were admits that lasted several days. On each occasion, my mother was treated thoroughly and with respect by a caring, compassionate staff. The doctors explained every situation and listened with care as we explained the problem. Double and triple billing, wrong ICD codes, quotas for the admission staff to send out incorrectly and fraudulently!

They misdiagnosed me, violated my HIPAA rights. Treated me like dirt, and even went so far as to claim i threatened them. They hit me with a no trespass. My blood pressure diastolic was over 100. My systolic was over 140. I was fatigued and sick due to a respiratory illness. My housing had flooded with grey water and the managers didn't remove the rot. That's what's infecting me. I needed critical medical attention but was denied. They tried putting me on benzodiazepenes. Which is a sedative. Essentially, they were making a situation far worse. Sedatives could KILL me considering the current situation. My last visit to another clinic, i was given sedatives and eventually went into sepsis. I feel like the entire time i was being discriminated upon for being autistic. They even denied my medical insurance card for the previous visits. I'm leaving this town and never coming back. I hope the hospital loves a town full of crazy methheads who get out the next day because of our fantastic police officers here. read more

Maybe go there if you're dying, otherwise you might think about another town. I went there with severe pain in my face, which they ignored. After being left alone in my room to suffer, I packed up and left. They have a few good doctors, but not many. read more

I have a discrimination and malpractice incident that happened months ago and I have notified the hospital number of times about the issue, and they refuse to get back to me! Medicare has also been trying to get some answers from them. This place needs to be shut down! read more

The billing dept is horrible. They charge for the wrong codes, and then refuse to address the issue. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Very fast and professional staff. I have gone here several times and they are great. They also accept just about all inaurance

31 May 2016 Update: I am updating my review because I am seeing a lot of improvement and I feel it is only fair to let everyone know. I only refuse care from one doctor because of the issues I have with him as a doctor. As far as the hospital goes, it's gotten a lot better. I have gone to the ER with much better results. I did get retaliated against by a doctor but I refuse care from him. The hospital's response to my complaint was pathetic. I felt ignored and I had a hell of a long six months getting a wrong diagnosis taken off my chart. The other doctors I have seen in the emergency room have been good. Going through the review and adding notes in parentheses with a * to what I wrote so you can see how it has changed. __________________________________________ The hospital is new, opening in Jan 2014, I think. It's located at the end of E 2nd St. You can't miss it. If you are on 2nd street and hit a highway, turn around and go the other way. There is a new road in front of it named Health Park Drive. While it isn't on Google or Yelp yet, I added the marker to the map where the new hospital can be found. Now my review... The front desk ladies are very helpful and friendly. They need to get paid more than what they are because they give a great first impression! (* Still the same! They are great!) For the imaging department and the lab department, they are good. No complaints from me. My son and I like the nutritionist also. She was very thorough. (* Hasn't changed.) The emergency room though, that's a hit or miss, and the reason the review gets 3 stars instead of 5. (* This is where it is getting better.) One visit the doctor and nurses are stellar and do an excellent job. If I knew that those doctors were the only one's working... ever, I would trust the emergency department with my life. (* This doctor I am referring to here is still working there, is the doctor I refuse care from, AND is why I refuse to give them 5 stars) Other times, I get doctors who want to give me medicines that I am allergic to and then try to pressure me into taking the medicine because "that's what we always prescribe for breathing trouble". I even had one who wanted to give me the medicine and follow it with Benadryl to counteract the allergic reaction. If I were unconscious, would they inject these medicines into me even though they are on my allergy list? Not a comforting thought. If I am in the ER for an allergic reaction, why give more things that I am allergic to. Are they trying to kill me? (This doctor no longer works there and I was told he will not be back) Another time, I had the doctor questioned me very rudely on why I decided to go to the ER. I explained my problem and he got very rude and kept asking "but why did you choose to come to the hospital? I mean WHY did you come in now?" I explained my symptoms again and he asked "I mean, why now? Why Saturday night at 9 pm? Why did you come in at this specific time?" I am not really sure why he kept asking that. I had an emergency that couldn't wait until Monday, so I went in. I was very much taken aback by his rudeness, his incessant pestering about why I came into the hospital, and his lack of care when he did treat me. Not just lack of care, but lack of caring at all. I honestly did not realize that my emergencies and going to the hospital needed to be planned. What's wrong with 9pm on Saturday? Is there some secret hospital party that goes on? Did interrupt your nap? I mean, seriously, what was the big deal? (That person no longer works there. And I haven't had this issue since) Other issues... Some of the staff wash their hands like they are supposed to do. Others do not. And I had to step in for a friend and throw away the medical items that they dropped on the floor, picked the items back up and put on the counter with the rest of the stuff like they planned on using it. Ew. Huge no-no. (* They removed the second bed.) While with friends in the ER, I noticed that if you are in trauma room 3 (a negative pressure room) they have two beds and no curtain in the room. They also tended to open the door to leave while my friend had all her girly bits exposed. Just the basics here... wash your hands, patient privacy, have a good bedside manner, and don't use items from the floor. Like I said, if it were the few doctors I would trust with my life working all the time, I could totally see trusting the hospital. But when you get crappy care and a bad attitude, it's not worth it. I have instructions for my healthcare advocates. If I am hit by a care and I am unconscious, risk it. Throw me in a car/truck and drive me to another city's hospital. I don't want to die from anaphylaxis because they insist on not thinking. For now, if we have emergencies, I try to make it to another hospital 90 miles away, rather than risk my health or my life going to this hospital's emergency room. But I will go if it's for lab work, MRI's, X-rays and the such. read more
