Not small (I think it was two nice-sized rooms), there were works by about eight or nine artists at the time I went, and a few paintings had a 'sold' label over their placards. We even got to meet one of the artists that day, who happened to be there to make sure his name had been corrected on the placards and because he had sold a painting ('Los Vigilantes' in the picture), and that was fun--but we didn't buy any of his paintings. Located inside the complex, you have to enter the Casa de las Artes to get to the gallery, and its interesting and fun so it's well worth it. I actually can't wait to see what it's like the next time I visit, I'm hoping it's an ever-changing landscape--maybe I'll even buy something. A nice gallery featuring local artists? what's not to love about that?

Located at the outskirts of the city--now bubbling over with new development--this mall isn't the…read moreeasiest or most convenient place to get to, but it is comparatively large, new, and definitely beautiful. With lots of light, indoor greenery, water-features, a movie theater--and the fact that it's open to the elements--it is certainly a beautiful and relaxing environment to pass time or get some shopping done, but there are also a couple of down sides. Definitely a nice thing about this mall was the fairly high concentration of mid-range and higher-end stores offering casual clothes to suits and formal dresses; there were stores devoted to jewelry, sneakers, dress shoes and apparel, sunglasses, and toys, plus other sundries. The food court was pretty much what you would find in any typical mall, with mostly generic foods like pizza, burgers, and drinks, but they also had a nice sushi bar and a beautiful Argentinean steakhouse located outside the food court. What was disappointing about the mall was how many vacancies there were--though, again, it is a fairly new mall--and how the stores that are there seem to have different hours than the mall itself. We left about two hours after the mall opened and some stores had just opened for business. All in all it was a good experience, but you really couldn't find anything at this mall that you couldn't find on your way there, and with so many empty storefronts it can't even boast a higher concentration of great stores than places that are easier to get to. That said, I do look forward to returning to this mall and hope to find a more unique experience, if not at least more stores.

Anyone not familiar with the Flexi brand should be, especially if your looking for a comfortable,…read moreattractive, good-quality shoe at a good price. Although not small, this location isn't that large either, but it does seem to carry all their newest shoes--what was notably missing was a discount section. Definitely the nicest, cleanest location, it also sported some of the friendliest, most helpful service I had during my entire trip. The other thing to note is that the shoes here are the same price as they are at their other locations, which was a surprise because the prices here at this gorgeous mall tend to be higher than they are outside the mall. I would definitely recommend the Flexi brand in general, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this location, only because they have other stores in this very same city with most--if not all--of the same styles for the exact same price, but also have a sale section. If you're shopping for shoes go to the location in El Centro, near Jardin Constitucion. However, if you do see a pair of shoes here that you want, and you don't plan on taking a trip to the city of Leon--where you can get high quality leather goods for great prices--buy them! They won't cost less at a different location.
