Some vets are less adept than others in handling difficult patients, making the experience all the more traumatic for everyone, especially the cat.
It was recently time to renew our cat's annual vaccinations. El Palau's website states that their vets are experienced with problematic behavior, so I decided to see if they were up to the challenge. Once we were there, as usual, the claws started flying, but the veterinarian and the vet tech handled our little cat like experienced tiger-tamers. They were calm and confident, and well-prepared with cat gloves at the ready. In the end, nobody was hurt, and all ended well.
Fortunately we haven't required their services for anything more serious than annual shots, but if our cat gets sick in the future I am fully confident in El Palau's ability to care for him.
