It isn't your cookie cutter same sign, same setup type planning service - this is made for you! Rachel was so sweet and kind even when I wanted to change my entire Pinterest board after spending hundreds of hours going down COVID Pinterest rabbit holes for elopement ideas. Creativity: Not only are these wonderful ladies planners - they are AMAZING photographers with a creative view. Their creativity extends into their designs and planning and they have perfected their art for sure. They have an amazing friendship and creative fuel when paired together that they can help you accomplish anything. Dedication: Obviously a great planner is dedicated to their couple, but when COVID happened and Valley of Fire closed and plans changed - they were dedicated until the very end. And even today I would do it all over again and I honestly want to relive my day every time I look back at our images. And if you want to host an after party on Strip you can - you don't have to stop in the desert. We thankfully got to have both Rachel and Amanda plan our Happily Ever After Party the following night for friends and family and it was just as amazing our special day we spent just the two of us. read more

Cactus and Lace planned an unbelievably dreamy, romantic elopement for us. COVID cancelled our wedding plans, and we contacted C&L with only one month until our wedding date. Rachel was so fast and responsive - she chatted with me over video once, and truly brought my inspiration to life! C&L took care of everything - hair, makeup, transportation, setup/breakdown, cake, flowers, photography...there was zero stress on our wedding day, only love and excitement. Please know there has been some hesitance in writing this review only because our actual planner is very kind and does genuinely seem to care about what she does (no longer taking new weddings for C&L). I felt motivated to share our experience to save anyone considering Cactus and Lace from the deep sadness and regret I have felt since picking up the $800 album we received after months and months and actual ugly crying. Our wedding was over $15000. It was held in the back of a bar. We payed for a scenic outdoor breathtaking colors and sunshine. In the contract it ensures you in case of weather another venue will be available. No other option was provided after realizing 70mph winds would ruin the experience. Topping on the cake #1: every single picture of the ceremony and reception my face is white from flash/bad makeup. See photo. Makeup was arranged as part of the package. Nothing was said until we got the photos and I was devastated. Editing was poorly attempted. Fail#2: All photos of my husband and his family were missing! $500 was offered to replace them. Then months later and after much effort of our planner, they were retrieved! Then our album could be made....with my still clown face makeup! GUESS WHAT ELSE BRIDES?! Not one photo of my husbands face was captured by the TWO "wedding photographers" as he watched me walk down the isle to him! I am heartbroken. Yes I married my love and will always remember the joy our love brought to our wedding day, however that same love would have been there had we not spent our savings on a company not as dedicated to the details as promised. read more

So pleased with the photography, venue set up, and communication. Even when my officiant came down with covid that week they were able to step in and officiate for us. As a local wedding professional, I have been working with Cactus & Lace Weddings for several years now and am impressed each time! I've never hesitated to refer couples since I am confident that they will be well taken care of. Though C&L has specific packages published on their website, I have witnessed them work on fresh designs and customization with couples. One specific location, the Valley of Fire, is very cumbersome for couples to plan as DIY - I am thankful that C&L exists to help! An intimate wedding with or without guests, in our case without was magical. My shy husband even enjoyed the day being photographed by Cactus and Lace. They made us feel beautiful and they stylized just for us! We loved it. It felt so good to be surrounded by these wedding planners/photographers/magicians in the most wonderful backdrop.
