There was really nothing out here for the longest time. But they had money and if they built it, they would come. So I came. It was nice. I must say, the final product is quite a beauty! Check-in was a little challenging because of misinformation, but that was the only bump in the road. My room was extremely spacious and clean. (Minus a little stain on the shower curtain). The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job preparing the room. (The water gets nice and hot, and there are a couple of settings on the shower head.) I was here for a conference, so I was all over the building! Some of the rooms were a little chilly, so make sure you have a light jacket on hand! The conference center was extremely accessible, as there was a skywalk to get from my room to the main building. I had three meals provided by the hotel (there are other eateries inside), and they were all delicious, and versatile. The hotel has a little snack shop that I purchased an ice cream cone from, it was a nice treat that I didn't know I needed. All in all, the facility was extremely clean, and most of the staff will speak in passing. -- I hope to come back to Margaritaville when it is warmer so I can take advantage of the beautiful lake, and other outdoor activities on the grounds. --Parking is kinda spread out, but there's plenty. This place is perfect for a nice in-state staycation. It's only 3 hours from Kansas City, and definitely worth the drive.

A high school team was there practicing so I listened in for a free lesson ;). Today I played the course. Just like the rest of Jefferson City, it has all the hills. The carts have a tablet and tracker in them and even warn you about blind spots so you don't have to worry about yelling "FORE!". The cart speaker is a little quiet so I still used my own speaker. The course plays well, especially for a city course. Jordan was inside behind the counter and was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall enjoyed my outing today and plan to return.

The range: they make you hit off of the mat most of the time (even though there is perfectly good…read moregrass) and most of the balls are completed shredded (see photo). The course: okay. The service: well, there is none. The staff behind the counters are usually high schoolers who allow their friends to play for free (right in front of paying customers!). On a good note, they just updated the outside of the clubhouse so it looks decent from the outside.
