I came in from out of town and requested a mani / pedi with gel & an overlay. The gel on my toes lasted one day on the right foot. And a man kept walking back and forth laughing and pointing at my feet. I couldn't understand what was being said because there was a language barrier. I asked for my overlay to be thinner and I got yelled at. About 10 seconds later the technicians son came from the back and said "my dad had a long day". And that the overlay had to be thick otherwise it won't look good. I have been getting overlay and wraps for over 20 years. And I'm sure my nails aren't supposed to look like bubbles, uneven, and unshaped. My nails were shaped when I came in. But my natural nails were drilled down so low that they are now bending off of the acrylic. I'm really disappointed. The vibe was- they do not care to serve outsiders but they will take your money. me and some friends came in for 3 pedicures and when i tell u everyone was rude lady who gave my pedicure absolutely sucked i told her i needed a good scrub and my cuticles gone i wasn't being rude at all but this lady had a very bad attitude it was my first time there n never going back i shouldn't have even payed! this place don't even deserve one star read more

I went to Cadillac Nails for a shellac pedicure prior to my trip. The young man who did my pedicure rushed through the entire process, didn't tend to the small calluses and painted my nails that looked like my middle school niece did them. When he asked if I liked my pedicure I told him I did not and mentioned the poor polish application. He just shrugged and said it was done. When I questioned if it was acceptable, he again shrugged. I spent time here with women in my bridal party the day before my wedding for a pedicure and a full dip set. They were gentle on my sensitive feet and nailbeds and took their time to make my nails beautiful and exactly what I asked for. I have gone to this salon every month for a year or better. I always get white tip, dip and always keep my nails shorter, finger tip length. I got it done the last time and had 4 nails chip away within 24 hours and was unable to get back in. I set up a time, went and was told they couldn't do it as they had to many people waiting. So, nearly two weeks later I had time to go in again. By this time two more nails peeled off. So, I went in and decided to have everything redone from scratch. I sat down in chair 3, the lady played on her phone for many minutes while I waited. I did ask how long it would take to start, she said 5 minutes. I later asked again as it had been more than 5 minutes. She finally set her phone down to start, perhaps she was on break, but it seemed odd to sit in the chair and wait for her to stop scrolling her phone. I then explained I wanted a dip with white tip and even though they hadn't grown out a lot I'd still like them trimmed to fingertip length. She started, when she applied the first bit of white for the tip she asked if that was enough. I simply stated I thought maybe more because otherwise, once they were trimmed there wouldn't be much white. She got angry and said "cut down, you tell me before I start dip". I apologized and said I thought maybe she was going to do that last since they weren't needing much trimmed. She yelled something in their language to Allen, who got up and told me to sit in chair 4. I said "chair 4?" His reply was yes she does not want to take care of m you anymore. And then he proceeded to tell me I would have to wait for a couple people to be done before he could get to me. I was embarrassed, the lady sitting next to me looked surprised too. I was so surprised I did get up and sit and chair for for about three minutes while my nails were a wreck and then got up and told him that I would take my business elsewhere. I was absolutely astonished at the unprofessionalism and terrible customer service as I was being very polite with the whole situation. Never again will I go back, after unnecessarily being humiliated. read more

Cadillac Nails is a great, affordable nail salon. They do a very good job and the staff is nice. I have gone there for the past 3 years and they are much better then other similar salons in Cadillac. Amy and Kat are my two favorite techs. It is surprising to see the bad reviews on here as everyone I know loves this place and goes here all the time. It is a local treasure. I have used Cadillac Nails several times but the last experience left me cold. I have never written a review before but I feel compelled to now. I had a manicure 5 days before Easter. Three days after the manicure, two nails peeled off in full. I went and had them repaired. Two days after that, the rest started peeling off the others so I just peeled them all off, too easily, and put them in a baggie to show them. I made a 2:00 p.m. appointment but they left me waiting a half hour (Why make an appointment?) before they assigned me to someone. The manger glanced but didn't bother to look at my nails nor those in the baggie, and he said he would give me another manicure 40% off. Fine but when I went to check out, only 20% was taken off, by him. I believe he knew full well he offered 40%. I left there feeling betrayed and slimy. I will not go back and I hope after reading this, your choice of salons will be more successful. read more

The gentleman that assisted in doing my nails was very rude. Slapping my sisters hands when she didn't loosen up her hand as he wanted. After giving this place a second chance, was very rude in assisting with my nieces nails. Doing a horrible job to piss me off, then when I brought her back while the manager was in he told them who knows what in their language and made very rude faces and remarks. Being in in customer service, I am appalled by this experience and will never return to this establishment. read more

Okay so I come here to get my nails done just about every two weeks. I asked the guy doing my nails to cut them down a little bit. He cut them all the way to my fingertips. Also when he was trimming my cuticles he cut two of my fingers and they were bleeding. They are sore. He didn't file them to make them smooth on the tips so I went home and smoothed them out. My nails are so short . He was rushed and acted like he didn't want to be there. Didn't apologize for cutting my fingers. I don't really know if I will be back right away. The gentleman that did my nails is the owner. He was very rough, slapping my hand when I didn't relax it but I didn't really relax after being cut. Even the next day my fingertips are still sore. Needless to say if I go back I don't want him again. You may walk out with a rushed job, sore bleeding fingers and no more beautiful natural nail left. read more

Absolutely horrible. I don't usually go there but had to in a pinch with my usual being booked up. Next time I'll wait. She was rude, not paying attention to what she was doing. She sliced my finger twice with the file. I asked her to fix the shape of ONE nail 3 times and she just laughed. She smudged my polish and when I asked her to fix it she added a layer of clear coat over it. Still had to pay $50 even though I voiced my concerns (get a pedi too). Definitely don't pay attention or care about the work they're doing. Go somewhere else!!! read more

So I came to cadillac nails because a friend from work had told me to go there, seeing as I moved here from Southern California and tried another nail salon before this, only to be disappointed tremendously. She told me she goes here, so I thought, this is the place to go for a great job. I walked in with no appointment and they got me started right away (I wanted a full set and a pedicure). Right away I asked the man if he could do what I wanted and showed him a picture. He told me he thought he could and seemed very convinced himself he'd do a good job. I was very pleased with how confident he was in what he was about to do, and excited to see the final outcome. First, let's rewind a bit.. I started with the pedicure, which was good for the most part, only not the color I wanted on my toes. And the lady cut my ankle when she was smoothing out my rough skin, never even said "I'm sorry". Other than those two things, the pedicure was alright... She spent a lot of time massaging my legs and feet, which I loved. Onto the full set... I wanted coffin shaped nails that were blood red matte and ombré into black matte at the tips. My coffin nails aren't even, as he didn't match up my fingers on one hand to the fingers on the other to make sure the lengths were the same on both hands. He also didn't shape them Right, as some of them are crooked, some are straight... But none of them even go to my cuticles. He didn't buff underneath so I have dry glue under them. You can see the sides of my real nails. There is no ombré whatsoever, in fact, he re did them three times and still couldn't get it right, to be followed by an "I don't know, I can't figure it out". I spent two hours there with him trying to get them the way I wanted before I had to literally just accept it and leave. They charged me 75 dollars total for The full set and pedicure, which neither came out as the pictures I showed him. My nails are actually a purplish brown color, which is far from Blood red and black ombré. I will post pictures of what I wanted vs what I received. I will not be going back. read more

Allen is fantastic! I got my nails done at a nail salon in Big Rapids and the shellac chipped within 2 days. I was in the area so I stopped by Cadillac Nails to see if anyone could help me out. Allen patched the chip & applied another clear coat for reinforcement to ALL my nails. What a gem! Thanks Allen! read more
