This place is a dream for middle school kid who is into fantasy and DnD. The music selection was a…read moremixture of '90s-'00s songs that thought (and hoped) that you would never hear again. The decor would be "sweet" for a basement, but not too much for a bar trying to pose for a cocktail bar. I guess the fake tree is ok, but overall blah. And give me a break with the drink selection.... If I wanted grenadine or imitation rose's lime mixed with some vodka and pineapple juice, I'd go to a college party and not spend €8 per drink. The "cocktail list" is totally a joke - amateur hour is a compliment for this hot mess. However, some drinks come with gummy creatures, which makes up for maybe €1 of my complaining.

I stopped in recently with a couple of locals while there visiting their hometown. It was late by American standards but an early night for French (9 PM), and we were one of only two parties there when we arrived. It didn't take long though before the place filled up. Service was attentive, and we ordered a round of drinks before reaching for the trivial pursuit. If you have a mastery of the French language, you can likely still do well at the game. The questions are broad and diverse enough that even this American did pretty well when pitted against two hommes français. The place was buzzing by the time we left around midnight. This is the perfect watering hole in Haguenau and worth a stop while you're in the area!
