The beer and wine place is closed (I guess I can't start my vacation here at 10am!) but the coffee shop is open. I've accidentally found what I had been searching for in my area for a bit -- a relatively quiet, but still bustling coffee shop intended for you to sit and relax -- or work without feeling like you are hindering the place's business. I will surely bring my laptop back and work here in the future. But I'm still on a time crunch and coffee shops can be quite slow, so I'm nervous. I sit by the train board they have in the coffee shop and order quickly. My toasti and cappuccino came with in 5 minutes (I was timing ha!). The tosti hit the spot -- but by no means over the top or gourmet - exactly what I was hoping for before heading to the airport. I'm really happy to have found this place!

A similar location was also opened at Rotterdam Central. I visited the 'stationsHuiskamer' for the first time, last week, and was really surprised by it's nice vibe, relaxed entourage and comfortable seats and tables to work at. Besides good coffee they also offer free WiFi and power plugs all over. It's spacious and the view inside the station is pretty cool. So I'm very happy with this place and will be using it as my favorite (co)working location when I will be visiting The Hague again.
