We had the escargot (6) the meat skewers and the chocolate soufflé. All were top notch just amazing. If you love chocolate get the soufflé and thank me later. The house wine for 4 E a glass was amazing and the wine list is full of great stuff. We had a bottle of the Chateu la voute-gaspare and loved it . Have been traveling around spain and France for over 3 weeks and this so far is my favorite meal and that's saying something.

Then we went for dinner at La Grange and were so impressed that the village had a such a high quality place that it tipped us in the direction to buy. It's really of a caliber that it wouldn't be out of place in a large metropolitan city, yet it has the cozy friendliness of the Minervois area. The food is wonderful and the menu varies according to what's in season, the owners--Aijuna and Jeremy--and the staff are friendly and welcoming, the live entertainment is fun, the cocktails are tasty, and it's a beautiful space. In addition to the main restaurant, there's also a small, cozy wine bar and in the summer, there's a lively tiki bar in the back garden. I can't recommend it highly enough. We feel very lucky to have such a great place in our village and whenever we have people visiting us, I make sure to take them to La Grange. They're never disappointed.
