He must have sensed the hangries coming on, big time. I had the vegetarian club (€10) and my bf had a pastrami club (€11). While I usually go with whole wheat bread, the white bread was just great. Both of us had a smoothie, pure fruit and veggies, nothing more. And we had to follow it up with a coffee! The bakery case was tempting with cookies, pastries and cakes. Really appreciate the owner's kindness and really enjoyed this charming cafe.

This pasticceria has been around since 1880! There is plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs, and you can stand by the counter if you just want to have a quick coffee and pastry. There is a bathroom located upstairs and is kept in good condition. We came here in the morning to order some espressos and a few pastries. I'm a pistachio lover and the "Rocher pistacchio" was my favorite. They also serve slices of a variety of different cakes, including pistachio, lemon, and chocolate. With so many pastries, you simply must come back and try them all. I gladly give this venue five stars out of five.
