And what a surprise: they served the best (so far) Dutch beer I've had, Puur which was very hoppy. The servers were very nice and helpful; when I asked what is 'preis?', she could not translate to English so she brought out a sample of leeks to show me! That's the way to provide customer service! This is a nice place on the walk platz very near the old Gothic house the bell tower.

The decor is a funky collection of old church fixtures, religious statues - but nothing offensive IMO. Sides with every meal are a collection of salad, fried potatoes, and vegetables as typical of NL restaurants. With drinks and wine the tab can add up to some serious Euros - but well worth it. A great place to enjoy a night out with friends.
