The vibe is relaxing and chill. Service is excellent and friendly. We were greeted with a big smile right after stepped into the store. What a great start of the day! They have many beverage, coffee, smoothies for you to choose, and also nice snack/breakfast selections. Bagel sandwich is delicious, and I would recommend to let them heat it up for you to add some nice warm textures! There is also free wifi in this store, and the speed is decent and good enough to work and check emails. It will become my weekend working spot for sure (Wifi here is much faster than in Starbucks.) At night, especially on the weekend, the bar gets full, but it does not get obnoxiously over packed with bar hoppers. It's within walking distance of Jahnplatz, the train station and other bars. This recently opened Starbucks is the first one in Bielefeld, conveniently located adjacent to the…read morecentral Jahnplatz. After months of remodeling from the previous store, it arrived just in time for the holiday season. On the ground floor there are just a few seats by the window (mainly if you're staying only a few minutes), and then upstairs (elevator available) a larger seating area, also with the large window looking out onto the pedestrian zone. This upper area still seems a bit small, so it will probably get full easily. Overall a very pleasant atmosphere, with various artwork on the wall. The beverage offerings are the same as any other Starbucks, and there are many other cafés in town, but the location is a big plus, despite the smallish seating area.
