We sat outside on the deck overlooking the vineyards and beautiful German and French countrysides. The restaurant is located one kilometer from the French border. Our French server was Adeline and she was very nice and extremely helpful. She spoke German, French and English. We ordered off the menu and requested just two plates of steamed vegetables because we're vegetarians. We could tell no one had made that request before but Hirschler brought back exactly what we ordered. The food was delicious. It was cooked to perfection. We also had two glasses of sparkling wine which were fantastic and finished off our meal with cappuccinos. The view could not have been better and it was unbelievably quiet being a Friday afternoon. Adeline was an exceptional server. She was very sweet, patient with our limited ability to speak French and was a pleasure to talk to. Thank you Adeline for a wonderful lunch!

To be honest, we were a bit liberal with the bubblies and wine paring throughout the meal... I cannot recite every single ingredient in the 4 courses I was served. But I can say in full confidence that every dish, every bite, contained fresh and perfectly cooked ingredients drizzled with sauces and garnishes that balance, expand and deepen the flavor. I am definitely looking forward to return for dinner one day. Note: "Muss(t)" make reservation - as the locals would say.

It is located in the old center of Mannheim-Seckenheim, very close to the tram station "Seckenheim Rathaus", close to the Neckar river. Parking possibilities are limited and rare. The food quality is good, mainly German style. The service friendly and supportive. I had an Argentinian filet steak, which I enjoyed. The place is quite popular with the local community, thus reservation is advised.
