Unfortunately our positive overall dining experiences were outweighed by the fact that a dog was in the kitchen off and on for part of the time we were dining. The atmosphere when you enter sets the cafe apart from the neighborhood: it's charming and well decorated. A broad menu and great selection in the cake/pastry case are encouraging. To our liking, the viennoiserie (bread pastries) looked small and dry, so we opted for a panini and the American. Both are quite good. The waffle is excellent: crisp on the outside, soft and tasty on the inside. I wish it had been warm enough to melt butter, but it was tasty anyway. I ordered my eggs over medium; they came with a hard bottom and just a tiny bit of softness in the yolk - like a medium-hard, but I was able to eat them. The bacon is deLICious. Back to the dog: two other customers asked about the dog. It is, off course, a health code violation. They had noticed it in the "office", which adjoins the kitchen. We, overhearing, felt the answers to the couple's questions were cagey at best. The couple had not had the vantage point our table did at the end, or they'd have seen what we did; without the presence of a dog gate, though a staff member did try to block the dog a number of times it did enter the kitchen. One of the times this happened a staff member picked the dog up in the kitchen and held it there for a number of minutes, petting it, before taking it back into the office. Eek! Super cute hole in the wall that you have to stop by and try! I wouldn't haven't known what the inside would look like by looking at its exterior because it's in a small and crowded shopping center -- but so worth it -- and not because it's adorably decorated and they sell coffee only, but because the staff was sweet and the bakery items and coffee that I purchased was delicious! They sell food there, not just pastries, which I will have to return for. They also sell beer. The spot is small, but it would make for a nice place to get some light work done. read more

We stopped in and got a loaded turkey croissant that comes with turkey, bacon, eggs, cheese, avocado and a sauce on it for 15 dollars and a chicken Caesar salad wrap for 16 dollars add avocado for 2. It was so delicious and the size of it is good for what you pay for. They also have a selection of cakes and baked goods. I got a slice of carrot cake that was so moist and delicious. Food was great. We ordered 3 breakfast croissants they were yummy and filled us up. We got vanilla latte's and they were so perfect. Its a bit of a drive from us but we will for sure be back. It was *fine*, totally edible, but had black olives instead of green, had no rice, and was missing all elements in the picture that weren't listed aside from that. I have driven by this place for the last several years and always thought it was a little sketch just based on location. Decided to meet for lunch this week with a friend and what a lovely surprise. Such a cute little hidden gem! I laughed when I saw they had the little youtube animated sceneries on the TVs, which is exactly how I like to start my mornings at home! I love to just throw on a computer generated coffee shop background with some morning jazz. The girl working in the front was very kind and patient. Cute little cafe located in Arden right off of Fulton Ave. The restaurant itself is very clean and is decorated in plants which brings a cozy atmosphere. I had a breakfast combo while my friends had pastries such as sweet croissants, turnovers and cakes. Everything was cooked or made right on the spot including any of the cakes or croissants that were ordered from the cake display which is a HUGE plus. We came here for lunch after church which was around the corner. Our experience was ok, the prices were a bit high for the size that you get. For example, the California croissant was supposed to have avocado but instead it had guacamole which was not so good- it would have been good if there were real slices of avocado. The guacamole made the sandwich more salty, and it already was salty from the bacon. The pastrami sandwich was good and came with chips. The overall cleanliness inside was satisfactory; I had to ask where to place our trays and trash bc the small trash bin was overflowing. The service also was ok, as they seemed busy. I remember letting a staff member know that there was little to no water left in their container and the person never came to fill it the entire time we were there. I ended up going home and added some more bacon to it. It was a good sandwich, something that you can definitely make at home or get from a mom and pop place. We also ordered an iced tea lemonade with a chai tea. I loved my chai tea my hubby didn't like the iced tea lemonade. No sugar, just tea and lemon. We also had their dessert Lotus cookie cream pie. Super delicious, melted in our mouth type of good. So all of our food for two people came up to 47.50. Definitely on the pricey side so if you're looking for something more affordable you may want to go to the breakfast spot up the street from here called Roosters. I came back for a second visit because my first experience was so amazing. Unfortunately, this time just didn't live up to that. I was really looking forward to trying the beef bacon I saw advertised on the menu. When I asked about it, the woman helping me was surprisingly rude. She cut me off and said, "We don't have that--only pork or turkey," as if I was just making it up. I even double-checked the menu, and sure enough, beef bacon was clearly listed. As you walk in, the aesthetic of the location is warm and inviting with plenty of seating. We arrived around 9:20 a.m. on a Saturday, and it was quiet, which was nice. We ordered the everything bagel breakfast sandwich and the croissant breakfast sandwich. The ordering process was simple, and there are a lot of menu items to choose from, so make sure to check out all of their coffee varieties. Our order was ready fairly quickly, and there were board games available to play while we waited for our food. The sandwiches, both the bagel and the croissant, were really great with fluffy eggs and fresh avocado. This place I found on yelp just inputting breakfast around me eleven I was around the Arden fair area of SAC. Inside is totally souped up modern interior with plenty of tvs digital menu , nice clean tables and even plates that are appealing to the eyes. They serve Peets coffee basics here so you know what you're getting coffee wise . Cafe 33 is run by a couple of Ukrainian women who work hard with a smile and answer all questions customers might ask. The menu is highly customizable too. I ordered the customer favorite as the cashier also recommended, the photo of it on yelp was really appeasing and I was satisfied the quality of the ingredients avocado and the fresh crossiant. Credit cards accepted and bathroom is no code and clean. They do have mimosas, wines and even tri tip st al sandwiches which I will definitely get next time I'm in town or traveling thru. Food wasn't too overly greasy and digested well which is important to me when I'm driving . It's great to see these family business succeed in a not so ideal location . read more

It's quite a small place to eat in so probably best for take out. But we were celebrating my Mom's 89th Birthday so we ate there. Absolutely obsessed with this spot right off Fulton Ave. We pass it all the time and have been meaning to try it but never got around to it due to them closing early afternoons. The staff let us know their new hours are until 5pm! Great news! Staff is so friendly, making genuine conversation with us while we ordered and asked questions. Offering information about the cafe like their live band events, etc. The bread and desserts are all house made, fresh and they even offer catering. The girl at the register was letting us know that her mama makes the baklava herself. The inside is very nice, it gives an airy and relaxing feel, which transports you to a cafe somewhere in Midtown. I was not expecting the interior at all so it was a nice surprise upon walking in. The place is very trendy and updated. There ample sitting space and would be a great spot for groups or studying since they offer free wifi. Onto the FOOD! We ordered House Croissants with Bacon, Egg, & Cheese and a square of baklava. They threw in a sesame pastry that I can't remember the name of but was so good! The baklava and this pastry both were so flaky and tasted strongly of honey with a lovely nutty aftertaste from the pistachios/sesame. We also tried some samples of their cheesecake which was so creamy. The croissants themselves were also very flaky without being crumbly, and held together really well, not soaking through with sauce or too greasy from the butter it's made with. The portions on the sandwich were excellent and the bacon was ample, thick, crispy! So had to find places without minimal, chewy, thin bacon on breakfast sandwiches these days. I think they add a mild chipotle aioli? But I could be wrong either way it was delicious. read more
