The menu is quite extensive, and there are a tempting variety of choices from breakfast to lunch to even dinner-sized mains. Food choices are from several types of cuisine, including choices such as a Mexican burger, Russian chicken dumplings, fresh fish, and a yummy Tuscan chicken risotto. We've tried several dishes and found all of them very good with good balance of flavours. The coffees are delicious as well. We haven't had room to try dessert, but some very nice-looking treats are on display, so will have to save some room for next time! This place is definitely worth visiting, bring your appetite!

Zac, one of the owners learned my name & consequently greeted me by name the next morning. My husband ordered an egg & bacon sandwhich on our consecutive visit & it was delicious. The staff paid close attention to detail, that we were all happy with our food & drinks and the bottled water was replaced regularly. Overall, visiting this cafe was one of the highlights of coming to Montana Gippsland for the weekend.

It felt like many other cafes in country towns: it was staffed by friendly people; the lunch menu featured items such as sandwiches, burgers, and baked potatoes; and there were a number of "homey" cakes and pastries for sale. The Italian focaccia that I ate was okay but certainly not exciting. It contained salami, sun-dried tomato, capsicum, onion, cheese, and mushroom. Improvements I'd suggest include the use of a quality focaccia, quality salami, fresh olives (they tasted canned), caramelised instead of raw onion, and fried/sautéed instead of raw mushrooms. Although I've given it a poor rating, the food satisfied my appetite and mostly met my expectations. Unfortunately I can't rate it higher when I compare it to the restaurants I'd choose to eat at in Melbourne and abroad.
