Vicky pours her heart into every drink that she makes! Aside from having a menu full of tasty drinks and treats her personality is genuine and makes it feel like you are visiting your best friend. The cafe has a modern look and is always kept clean. Vicky never steers me wrong with drink suggestions and today was no exception. She suggested a refreshing passionfruit orange iced tea that was the perfect balance of sweet and citrus notes. Thank you Vicky for making this a place to enjoy a refreshment and a genuine conversation.

Not impressed. I came here after seeing a TikTok about it and I'm always down to try a new coffee spot. I walked in, it was clean. Someone said hello from the back. There is a screen that you order on. It has the drink and food options. The sizes don't tell you ounces or any of that information. I placed my order, the machine, for a large banana latte. I usually order a large and they're usually around 20oz, so that was what I was expecting. The drink total was $10 before tax. I paid. It asked me if I wanted to tip. I am not against tipping but I expect human interaction to know who I'm tipping. I got my drink in less than 5 minutes, the girl came out from the back handed me my drink and straw then quickly disappeared into the back again. I'm sorry but I value human interaction in service roles and this felt very cold and impersonal. The coffee was ok, I didn't think it was anything special except that the large was GIANT.

I've heard a lot about this place and I decided to try it first myself. Located off Van Buren in a newly revamped shopping center parking is easy and there are quite a few food options nearby. I was specifically looking for non-dairy so my options shrank a bit,but that's OK. I decided to go with a slush.It had strawberry ,mango,and raspberry. I added mango jelly Boba. My order came in a little over $7 and it was so good. It was my first time trying jelly boba and I liked it. Service was friendly and helpful. There are a few stools and seats to sit on inside.

I've been coming here periodically since they first opened, and I always enjoyed my drinks. For a brief period they offered macaroons, but that appears to be discontinued and no other snacks or treats are available. That's probably wise though because the space is fairly small. Lately, given the hot summer days, my favorite drinks are the Slushee types. I'm working my way around the menu and almost all are good, although the spicy strawberry is an interesting mix of puree and tajin spice, reminiscent of sour tamarind and chili powder. Service is friendly and drinks don't take too long to prepare.

Very good coffee Cozy shop. Excellent team members helped me in choosing a drink. It was my first time so I had some questions but the team member that helped explained the coffee toppings and what the base consists of. I liked my drink! Highly recommend stopping by for a good coffee.

Went last Saturday night and this place was busy. There were a few people waiting for their orders, but we didnt wait that long after placing ours. The staff was friendly. When you walk in you get hit with a perfumy smell. It smelled good, but not something I'd associate with a coffee/tea place. We decided to try the coffee drinks and got the chestnut coffee and the banana coffee. The chestnut was decent. It was a little on the sweeter side but the flavor went well with the coffee. The banana was not good imo. It was an artificial banana flavor (think banana laffy taffy or runtz) and pretty sweet on top of that. I'd come back to try the teas before writing them off.

Wonderful first visit with my brother. Warm welcome with a smile. Bright interior with bar seating or bench seats. A large menu selection I was actually surprised all they had to offer. It's great when you don't know what you're in the mood for. They probably have a solution for your cravings. The cups are large sizes and has plenty of drink! Parking right in front with easy access. Sit and stay a while to enjoy the vibrant and happy atmosphere. Great for a refreshing iced cold brew!

This cafe is in a shopping center, next to Panda and the dentist. I had looked at their menu online to see what they sell: coffee, boba, and teas. I was craving a coffee this day. I walked in and was the only one in. This was noon. I was immediately greeted by the owner. He asked me if I had been there before and I said no, this was my first. He showed me the menu. You order from a tablet displayed at the front. He let me know I could ask him any questions. They have different unique drinks. I was interested in trying their Taro créme coffee. I love Taro. You get to choose how strong you want the coffee and any add ins. Food related, they have açaí bowls, macaroons. Soon after I ordered, someone else came in. I was waiting around for my order to be ready. The owner asked if I needed anything else and I said no. The cafe has a modern feel to it. They have a few unique tables and chairs lined across the wall. Everything felt brand new and contemporary. They have a wall to take pictures of your drink for a photo op. My drink was ready quickly. The owner saw I was getting ready to take some pictures and he brightened the lights xD. It was a very pleasant experience. The drink really did taste like taro and the coffee was great! I would definitely be back! Thanks!

I live down the street from here and I recently started coming here for my boba fix. I love their tiger milk tea. I get it with the crème brûlée foam/topping. When I came yesterday I forgot to add boba to my drink. I asked one of the workers for boba ready to pay. The nice gentleman gave it to me for free. The owners/workers here are always nice. My husband said the owner likes to chat with the customers but I've never seen them or maybe I have im not sure lol but I really like this place. The decor is nice. Very clean. I'm happy to have a boba spot so close to home read more

Cute little cafe offering a variety of drinks and desserts including coffee, bubble tea, and shaved ice. I came here searching for an affogato (espresso and gelato), and while I couldn't find that on the menu, they offered something similar. The Vietnamese Affogato is a Vietnamese iced coffee (cà phê sữa đá) with ice cream and Oreo cookie crumbles. Despite the sweet toppings, it still had very nice coffee flavor. We also had the Strawberry Snow, which is a shaved ice with fresh strawberries, strawberry jam/syrup, and ice cream. This was also very tasty. Don't forget to stir and mix all the toppings! My only complaint is that this place is a bit far from us! read more

I stopped by Cafe Bottega and ordered a matcha horchata with boba. While the drink sounded promising, it was pretty average--nothing special--and definitely overpriced for what it was. Ordering was done through a tablet, so there was minimal staff interaction, which might be a plus for some but felt a little impersonal to me. On the bright side, the store itself was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Overall, it's an okay spot, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more

The interior is very beautiful but theres a strong smell that gives me a headache every time I go. I've gone here 3 times already because coffees are quite solid, however there's so much ice in every drink just like Starbucks. The baristas are welcoming and friendly but the wait for the drink takes about 10 minutes. What's making me not come back anymore is the Pistachio Matcha Milk. It's a 0/10 for me, I got regular sweetness, but it tastes like it was made extra sweet and has a medicinal taste. There's chunks of pistachios that are salty, so pairing the salty pistachio bits with an extremely sweet drink was just awful. My friend tried it too and we both couldn't get past the taste. Also as a key highlight: No matcha flavor at all, just overpowering sweetness. I couldn't bring myself to drink anymore and ended up throwing it away which has never happened to me before. read more

Honestly, I am so excited I found this gem of a place. I usually wait to get Vietnamese coffee down in OC when I'm there to get that coffee craving satisfied, but now that I have discovered this place nearby, I will be coming every week! let me just start off by saying i have very high standards of coffee/matcha and this place literally met them! this reminds me so much of one of my all time favorite coffee/matcha spots in OC called airoma (iykyk) and wow... cafe bottega is literally on that level! amazing staff, very clean spot, fast service, and AMAZING drinks! i recommend the banana latte -- it is the perfect banana latte that tastes just like airoma. Highly recommend! My new favorite is the Bottega Coffee w/ Salt Cream. All of their beverages are delicious and they offer a variety of items that satisfy your cravings/mood. The staff are always welcoming and helpful since I can be indecisive with my selection. There is a kiosk where you can also place your order. I love boba and always trying new spots and came across this place. First off the service was 10/10 so helpful when choosing drinks the lady even gave me a sample before I ordered it she really went above and beyond. The drinks were amazing and boba was so soft top notch flavor! We got the dragon fruit tea which was my favorite and had the house milk tea with the pudding so delicious, the watermelon juice tea which was my least favorite. This is a establishment I visits often! They failed customer service in 8/7. I placed a online call order make sure after I arrived. Some young girl asked me what my name was for my order and I told her and she said OK. I'll be out shortly about 15 minutes. Go by and another girl asked me if she could assist me and I said yeah I placed it on online order and I just been waiting and she got really snappy and said well did you tell somebody I said of course I did. Reallyyyy good coffee and great service, had a great diversity in drinks with a lot of personal modifications possible! I got the Vietnamese coffee my friends got a caramel macchiato and crème brule coffee. ALL were really good not too sweet (where it overpowers) and they all had great distinct flavors. 10/10 read more

I got the Coconut Coffee (Vietnamese coffee, coconut syrup (I assume), sweetened condensed milk, and coconut flakes) and I really enjoyed it. Only problem was that it was thoroughly packed with ice. Ultimately, I probably consumed the right amount of caffeine, since Vietnamese coffee is pretty strong. It was pretty sweet as well. I wound up letting it melt down in the sun a bit and it tasted great. For $7 I wish I could enjoy it sooner and longer. Interior of the shop is attractive but not super comfortable. One thing about this sandwhich is that the chicken will never cover the entire bread and it will never be distributed evenly. So you will always have one half that has less chicken and ends up being part veggie pesto sandwhich, which is still worth it. The other favorite is a turkey club sandwhich on a croissant. It's basic, but also very tasty. They also carry a variety of pastries and serve Klatch coffee (brewed coffee) if you need a sweet treat afterward.

As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.
