There is plenty of staff wandering around and in fairness dressed quite smart in ties and waistcoats, i'm not sure if we were supposed to be seated by them but we just marched in a picked a place. I ordered the poached eggs on wholegrain toast (there didn't seem to be a choice of white) and a flat white; of course. My partner in dining ordered a croissant filled with gruyere cheese and button mushrooms and a béchamel sauce and a pot of tea. The drinks came almost instantly, it was a pretty good flat white and i liked the cup and saucer it came in; don't judge me I find it important how things are presented. The tea came on its own tray/chopping board that seemed to take up half of the table which proved a bit of an issue when the food arrived not 5 minutes later. No sudden movements please, nearly sent a piece of toast careening off to the next table. My poached eggs were cooked well, suspiciously perfectly formed and dome like as if created by some dark magic but runny inside so I was happy, and the toast was well - like toast I added my own butter. The croissant came with a side salad and was a decent sized portion, however the béchamel sauce made the pastry go stodgy, the sauce itself tasted a bit floury. Unlike other cheese and mushroom croissants this wasn't toasted it was a croissant that had be cut in half; had whole (not sliced) button mushrooms and cheese but inside then slathered in the sauce. Hate to say it but the Starbucks version is tastier and cheaper. With that all said and done, I would go back for coffees and breakfast. It's a nice alternative to the likes of Costa and Starbucks (we doth not mention Nero) and you can almost always get a seat.

They have a list of hot and cold sandwich fillings, many of which are already made up, but if you ask nicely, if they've got the ingredients they'll make it for you. Hot and cold drinks, you can ring and order, they cater for events and and make some stunning cakes to order with sugar craft. Expect decent chat, it's a proper community shop, and anyone who can return the stolen Gemma panda will be rewarded with cake.

Sadly I was disappointed and have to say, despite giving plenty of time for the tea (bag) to brew, and giving it a massive stir, the tea was completely devoid of flavour. (I am not exaggerating here): so bad that I didn't drink more than a few sips. Needless to say I won't be drinking tea in Druckers again. Note to Druckers, please improve the quality of your drinks. The staff seemed OK but not particularly friendly. The atmosphere was standard Druckers - very dated, hence I give a very rare low score!

This is a cafe doing your usual cafe type food, from sandwiches to salads and jacket potatoes. They do a good range of hot and cold drinks too. They do may cake and pastrie type items too. The prices are very good and the food is very good. The service is good and you do not have to wait very long in there.

They are passionate about what they do and I'm sure they are here for the long run. Staff provide first class service and they will not let you down. Whatever you want, they will do their best to do what it is you want. Seeing the cakes displayed at Kally's did tempt me to want to have a bite. I have a major sweet tooth, and whilst I can't eat their delicious cakes I can buy them for other people. So whilst I'm buying Danishes and tarts for the other half, I'm buying myself the freshly made monster meringues. Worth treating yourself to some freshly baked classics and great bread as opposed to a cupcake every now and again. It's always nice to find a good local supplier that means you can bypass the supermarket and grab something freshly and locally made with good quality ingredients. They are superbly located for the commuters from Snow Hill Station, you just need to remember its there on the corner of Great Western Arcade.
