Unfortunately my experience did not match other glowing reviews. Service was fine. Order near the entrance. The employee patiently answered my first timer questions. The ambiance is nice, colorful and homey. Best part of the evening. Ground Beef Empanada - it was small, not memorable. Black Bean Soup - this was great but salty. Was very disappointed by the traditional feijoada, pork stew, which was underseasoned. Only liked the few sausage pieces. The dish also needed more rice. Overpriced at $28. My friend's steak dish was oily but tasty. For what it's worth, breakfast is served all day and they sell alcohol. Might only come back if someone treated me.

Traditional Feijoada is served everyday here , yay!

First time visiting and we got to meet the owner who is a sweet 86 year old grandma! Everything tasted a bit more homemade than like a restaurant. We were looking for a place to get our feijoada fix on a Wednesday and it was hard to find one that's not a churrascaria steakhouse..(feijoada is usually served on Saturday's/weekends). This place serves feijoada everyday! We also ordered the picanha although it was a bit too well done and tough (should have asked for a bit more rare, maybe medium rare or rare). Got two fruit juices, sugar cane with passion fruit (super good, must try) and a classic orange juice. Lastly we also ordered two coxinhas but they were a bit dry and not as flavorful as I remember they would taste in Brazil They have a small parking lot (watch out for the dip to get in/out) that is shared with the motel they own.

I've been coming here since the days of their old location, and it's long been one of my favorite spots for a Brazilian-style breakfast. The restaurant is bright and cheerful, filled with vibrant colors and fresh flowers throughout the space, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. My go-to order is the breakfast plate with egg whites. It comes with their signature cheese bread, fried plantains, a slice of watermelon, Brazilian coffee, and fresh-squeezed passion fruit juice--a combination that always feels like a treat. This time, however, the portion on my plate felt a little smaller than usual. My husband added Portuguese sausage to his plate, which is an additional $7. It was a beautiful Southern California day, so we chose to sit outside and enjoy the lush, garden-style patio. The outdoor seating really makes the experience feel relaxed and leisurely. Service, as always, was warm and friendly. Despite the slightly smaller portions this visit, it's still a place I enjoy and will happily return to--hopefully next time with the generous plates I remember.

What an absolutely fun and eclectic restaurant with tons of heart. I wish I could give it more stars but my vegan platter wasn't all that great. The veggies were swimming in water which made them and the rice mushy. Also the veg didn't have much seasoning or flavor. The stars of the show were definitely the black beans and plantains. I'd definitely go back but maybe just stick to ordering sides.

I went here for lunch with a friend after hiking and it hit the spot! You order at a counter then seat yourself inside or outside the restaurant. It is very home-y inside. We both ordered the executive lunch special, mine with steak and hers with chicken, each $16. We also ordered a few pao de queijo for $1 each and the pasteis for $5. They also have different juice flavors and I got mango and she got passion fruit, juice $7. I paid about $35 for my meal and it left me very full afterwards. The rice was soft and buttery and beans were cooked perfectly. All the food went well together. We parked on the street at a meter. It seems like they may have restaurant and motel (motel is right next to restaurant) parking for free but we didn't not investigate further.

Oh. My. Goodness. I've driving by this place but never bothered to check this place until my friend suggested it. I came here on a Wednesday at 6:30P and easily found street parking right up front. As soon as you walk in, you order right up front. They give you a number and you take a seat anywhere. This is a family run business. I believe it's an older couple so this is definitely a place for authentic food. The decor is really colorful and they play quiet music to set a relaxed environment. I ordered the pork chops. What i didn't realize is that the pork chop comes with rice, beans, and greens. The pork chop was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO tender. I honestly couldn't believe how tender it was. They have such a big menu that i 100% want to go back and try more items on the menu.

    The food does not dissapoint.

I've eaten at Cafe Brasil for many, many years and can say without a doubt that this place is a winner. The food is tasty, made from fresh, quality ingredients, the service is outstanding and the ambience is fun and vibrant. Fatima, who has owned the restaurant for years with her husband, even grows her own sugar cane and passion fruit, which she blends together for an amazing fruit drink! One of my favorite dishes is the churrasco, a thin and tender skirt steak cooked with onions, tomatoes and peppers and served on a cast-iron platter. It comes with rice, fried plantains black beans and your choice of soup of the day or salad. The servings are generous and are a perfect complement to the main dishes. This place also has character-- its walls are painted in bright colors and the spce is filled with cool antique decorations. Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite spots on L.A.'s Westside.

I was feeling adventurous and decided to try Cafe Brasil, since I had never had Brazilian food before. I asked the cashier what she recommended, and I'm SO glad I did. She suggested the chicken stroganoff (Estrogonofe de Frango) and the seafood stew (Moqueca). When I heard stroganoff, I was expecting something like beef stroganoff with egg noodles, but this was way better. It was a creamy chicken dish served with rice and garlicky kale on the side, and everything was incredibly flavorful. The kale was especially amazing with all the garlic. The moqueca was also incredible. The broth was rich, warm, and packed with seafood flavor. Everything tasted fresh and comforting. The portions were huge, and I left completely full. I'm really glad I asked the cashier for recommendations because these are dishes I never would have ordered on my own, and they ended up being amazing. Definitely coming back.

I came here with my boyfriend and we both left so happy and full! I got the chicken milanesa and he ordered the lunch special with chicken. Every single thing on the plate was delicious -- not just the main dishes, but even the rice, beans, and plantains were packed with flavor and could've stood on their own. The portions were generous, the food tasted fresh, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. It really felt like a warm, home-style meal in a cozy setting.

I love coming here for the breakfast. Good service and food. Grab a menu, place your order, take a seat and someone will bring it to your table when ready. There is plenty of indoor seating and a few tables available for outdoor seating, perfect on a nice day. Pay meters out front for parking.

I'll have to start with the amazing service from the moment you sit. I never got the server's name but wow, he's amazing. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back. That you all in the kitchen and the counter as well. Oh, I can't forget to mention how beautiful this place is.

It was also annoying for the waitress (not the gal that served us btw - a host perhaps) to give the vibe like they were doing us a favor by applying the $50 Birthday promo that THEY send via email (note, I verbally this flagged when we arrived just in case - but they didn't initially have it on our bill). My head is thinking "calm down--we ate minimally and got drinks. Don't offer it if you're going to have an attitude about adjusting the bill". It was just weird. They also didn't offer any bday dessert treat but we weren't super pressed bc we were so full. The meat was a bit overdone and all kind of tasted the same this visit. Didn't get to try the lamb chops and a few other meats, but still has a nice variety. Salad bar is top notch and consistent, although wish their black beans were plain due to all the meat. Drinks were ok--heavy pours but lower quality wine. The $29 "Wine Experience" package was worth it for my husband who likes variety of wines with his dinner depending on what he's eating. I'm sure I'll come again but it's been bumped a few notches on my Go To list.

There were 8 of us in total--6 adults and my teenage nephew and niece. We all enjoyed the Full Churrasco experience. I actually came here with my friends back in March, and I remember how delicious the food was and how friendly the staff were. This visit was just as wonderful. Every cut of meat was flavorful, and the service was excellent from start to finish. One of my favorite parts is definitely the salad bar. There were so many delicious options that I ended up filling two full plates, and I was already stuffed before the meat even kept coming! The fried bananas were delicious, the Brazilian cheese bread was amazing, and honestly, everything we tried tasted great. When we were seated, there was already a bottle of sparkling water on our table. The server asked whether we would like to keep it or order a different beverage, and we were happy to have the sparkling water. I also love that they give a complimentary slice of cake to the birthday guest. (Although my brother had already brought a beautiful $90 cake from Sweet Lady Jane for all of us to share!) Before our visit, I purchased four Costco gift cards, which turned out to be a great deal. Each Costco gift card covers $100 in dining credit ($50 × 2) but costs only $78, so it was an excellent way to save money on our family dinner. Note1) Before our visit, I emailed Customer Service to ask about the children's pricing. They confirmed that the children's price applies to kids ages 12 and under, and children 12 and under receive 50% off the Full Churrasco price. (My Niece is 13 now. So, I paid full price) Note 2) They also give the birthday guest a complimentary slice of cake, which is a nice touch. Another thing I really like is that they don't charge a cake-cutting fee if you bring your own cake from outside.

The meat was definitely the best part of the meal. I chose to get two different types of beef, a serving of stew, and some chicken. Both the beef and the chicken were tender and full of flavor. FOOD: Chicken Stroganoff - 9.1 / 10 When someone says "Brazilian", I get that most people immediately think of grilled meat & you wouldn't be wrong. But don't sleep on the stroganoff. It's such an underrated "side" dish. Truth be told, I could just get their stroganoff & be happy as a clam. Pieces of real chicken in a viscous tomato-cream stew. Pro-Tip: pour the stroganoff on their mashed potatoes like a gravy & thank me later. Pão de queijo - 9.1 / 10 The signature bread of Brazil. Small rolls of bready goodness. But what makes their bread stand out? The bits of real cheese that are baked into the bread. No butter needed here. Cheese literally makes everything better. Rice + Beans - 8.3 / 10 The quintessential side dish known as "Moros y Cristianos". They are obviously served separately, but do the traditional move & pour your beans on top of your rice. Platanos - 8.2 / 10 Fried plantains. I prefer mine cooked "well done" so that get those crisp burnt edges. I also believe that cooking them longer makes them sweeter. This is like my "desserts" of sorts since it's a sweet bite. Picanha - 8.6 / 10 The definitive meat of Brazil. If there was only 1 meat - it is this. Flavorful when cooked right. Salted, dipped-in-water, then grilled. Simple. Every Brazilian place should be judged by their Picanha. Linguiça - 8.6 / 10 Sausage. Properly plump + juicy. Well-cooked with a bit of sweetness. The pork is a nice contrast to overwhelming amount of beef that is served at any Brazilian churrascaria. Lamb leg - 8.4 / 10 A lot of people can be apprehensive when it comes to lamb. Get over it. If it's properly cooked - grilled over an open flame, it can arguably beat out a really good piece of grilled beef. Slightly gamier in taste, it's a very welcome addition that brings variety to the table. Picanha ao Alho - 8.7 / 10 Like the aforementioned Picanha but with the addition of garlic. Who doesn't love garlic? Maminha - 8.6 / 10 Their new Tri-Tip. Taste like their signature regular picanha, but with a slightly more tender tetxture. Personally, I think that tri-tip tends to taste a bit beefier than a typical sirloin cap (picanha). Yes, they weigh your plate for the price. Yes, the factor out the weight of the plate.
