The service was good and prices were on the reasonable side. However, food quality and overall taste were awful. I ordered the chicken Lula and it was rubbery and tasteless. The rice had so much salt added that it made my stomach twist and turn. I don't recommend this establishment given the poor food quality. read more

I've been going here since I was a child and i always make sure to go when I'm back in Burbank. The food is always yummy and fresh off the grill, the sides are delectable, the portions are big and the prices are so reasonable. My go to favs are the beef kabob and the Lule kabob with sides of cucumber yogurt, ikra, hummus, or the tomato and pepper - anything you get is great. Since Kabab Way was closed on a Sunday, this was an emergency backup. I missed the restaurant driving East on Glenoaks, as the signage is not great. Parked adjacent to the Starbucks. I ordered the Lentil Soup and Lamb Kabob, but they were out of lamb so I went for the Beef with salad and Tabbouleh and Hummus. I received the Lentil Soup right away, which was hearty but a little spicy. After 15 minutes the Beef Kabob was served to my table. The beef itself was well seasoned and juicy. The Tabbouleh was extremely watery and the tomatoes tasted funny. The Hummus did not taste fresh. I could not finish the salad as the tomatoes were off, and I had no idea what the dressing was. This is a good, consistent kabob restaurant. It's not the best I've ever had but I really like coming here for lunch. The portions are really good and I usually have tasty leftovers. My favorites are the lamb kabob plate or the Cornish hen kabob plate. I also like the gyro plate. Fantastic food, great value, great service. Thomas went above and beyond in taking our order. I've been twice in one week. I did not know it was under new management and that the old owner had passed. I get the same Gyro plate with sides every time. This is my NOW go to restaurant in Glendale. We eat inside there, as I hate taking food home in containers to steam away and ultimately get cold before I get home to eat it. Fabulous juicy meat, delicious salads, rice, stuffed grape leaves. Had Cafe Bravo catering for my son's first birthday and it was a hit! The food was delicious and they delivered it to the party location nice and hot, and right on time! Everyone loved the food - babies loved the rice and meats, and the older folks and grandparents loved the sides - of course hummus, but also the garlic sauce, ikra, and Armenian pickles. Hard to believe that I haven't reviewed this place, and that it's my first check-in. I've been coming here for as long as they've been open, and gone through many remodels. They have their own parking, and even if that's full, there's always available parking all around. The place is looks nice and clean, and the staff is friendly. Place your order at the counter and the food is brought to your table when ready. They have now switched over to serving the food in actual dinner plates, and they use real utensils. This is environmentally friendly, compared to all the plastic and paper they were using before. When it comes to the food here, I've had a love/hate relationship over the years. When they started out the food used to be really good, but then they went through a period that the quality just sank, and I stopped coming for a while. I came in today, and I have to say that it seems like they are up to par again. I ordered a chicken kabob plate (chicken thigh) with an extra skewer of beef Luleh kabob, and got my favorite sides of the yogurt/cucumber and Ikra (eggplant caviar). Both kabobs were amazing! The chicken was juicy and grilled to perfection. The Luleh kabob was also juicy, not dry, and very flavorful. I also got a side of grilled tomato and pepper, because I love to smash the grilled tomato into my rice, it goes great with the beef Luleh kabob. Cafe Bravo is a good spot for kabobs and rice. I usually get their plates. With the meat, rice and two sides it's more than enough food for one person. Their meats are good enough. Sometimes the chicken kabobs are a little overcooked, but the flavor is still good. The Luleh is always good here. I especially love the sides here. The hummus, tabouleh, Armenian pickles and radish are all really good. Don't forget the awesome garlic sauce! read more

I have been coming here for more than 35 years but sadly no more. Ordered 3 plates; chicken, beef and lule with extra skewers of each. Came home to find chicken was missing and got an extra lule instead. Wife yelled at me for not checking the order. I guess I should not expect business to be competent enough to fulfill order as ordered. Beef looked different from what I remembered from the last time I was here which was maybe about a year ago. It looked boiled or cooked in a oven. Lules were about a third smaller, they used to go across the whole length of the container. They also used to offer various hot sauces, no mas. Walked in 6:44p and they're open til 7p. They literally turned me away because they have no food to sell cuz they've already cleaned up cuz they're tryna leave by 7p. I get it, you wana go home. But the business is going to suffer and frankly, my dinner is suffering cuz y'all won't do your job right lol. if youre guna be open til 7, take orders til 7. The salad was BLAND and the potatoes were uncooked. I'm not a fan of crunchy potatoes, Bleh! Also, the rice was kind of hard and some of them were in clumps. Cafe Bravo was a lot larger, newer, and more modern than I expected. I only wish I read up about the long wait times earlier so that I would've called in my order. The menu has something for everyone, meat lovers and vegetarians alike. We opted to try the beef kebab and chicken luleh with hummus & tabbouleh sides. We waited for what seemed an eternity (40 min) because of our empty, rumbling stomachs. During our wait, we watched their very busy and efficient kitchen churn out a never ending stream of kebab plates. There were two cashiers that took orders, one person setting up plates with sides and the corresponding tickets, two on the grill cooking kebabs, and one server. About half the customers were dine in while the rest were to go. I noticed that the person setting up plates with sides was generous and conscientious. My hungry and impatient husband found out that orders are filled based on what is ordered, not necessarily based on when the food is ordered. It kind of made sense because I saw a lot of patrons that arrived after us, get their food before us. Since our food was to go, we didn't eat the kebabs piping hot. But, it was still very tasty and filling. The hummus was tasty and the tabbouleh was very lemony (good if you like lots of lemon). My husband loved the beef kebab and kept remarking how tender the beef was. I found the chicken luleh well seasoned and moist. All in all I'd definitely return.
