Great place to hang out, study, work or play card games! They have a ton of outdoor seating with cozy string lights, plus plenty indoors as well, large tables and couches. Quiet and relaxed vibe, lots of people on their laptops. Music wasn't loud. The décor is modern and comfy, with brick and greenery. FOOD: Sandwiches and snacks, as well as frozen yogurt. I got the ramen, which had rice cakes, hot dogs and egg. Simple but tasty! My friend got the turkey sandwich and said it was super good. The presentation was very cute on a wooden board. DRINKS: Lots and lots of options here! Tea, coffee, smoothies, shakes, hot cocoa, and more. I tried a few drinks. House milk tea was good hot, a little on the sweet side with nice flavor. Boba Time for me is 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24/7. As for this particular visit here at Boba Time, I was very impressed with the beautiful interior that reminds me of West Elm. What surprised me was the addition of their lovely, relaxing and peaceful garden-like patio outside. But I didn't come here for the nice decor, it's always about the drink for me. The nice surroundings is just an added bonus. Ummm, what to have? As I am looking at the tiniest print I have ever seen on a chalkboard (mind you, I have amazing eye-sight), I squint hard, barely able to read it but I spot a coconut milk tea. Easy choice! Light on the ice with 30% sugar, the drink was refreshing and perfectly sweet. I can taste the delicious coconut and I drank the whole thing pretty fast. At which point, my companion laughed at me and said...there's no more, stop sipping at the empty cup. Yeah, it was that good! Get the large vs small (there is no med). A well-known boba tea cafe in Walnut (and not to be mistaken by the boba cafe chain It's Boba Time) primarily known for their shaved ice, milk teas, pumpkin latte and yogurt smoothies. Plenty of plush indoor and outdoor seating, and working electrical outlets. Korean owned and offers popular food items like spicy rice cake, ramen and waffles. Other menu items include fusion fruit teas, coffee, traditional Asian teas, frozen yogurt, slushes and freshly squeezed juices. I like to come here for their almond milk tea (served either hot or cold) and fruit shaved ice. Boba Time, in my opinion, makes the best Korean style shaved ice in town. A small bowl, $7.99, (a large bowl runs $12.99) can easily be shared by two people. Service is friendly but could make some improvements: be more attentive, organized, wipe down tables more frequently and offer to serve hot beverages in a glass if dining in. (Otherwise what is the point of them asking if you are?) Wi-Fi is available and free but the connection is horrible. Add a new service provider or router to the list of improvements. Spacious and open with lots of windows and well-lit at night. Parking - they have their own private lot off to the side as well as additional shared spots in the front of the busy strip mall - is generally not an issue during the day hours. Restroom only has one stall, kept relatively clean with plenty of toilet tissue, disposable seat covers, handsoap and paper towels. Open until midnight. On one of the hottest days they refused to adjust the AC, leaving everyone sweating and uncomfortable. My study group and I were also asked to leave as a group of students sitting at a bigger table is "bad for business", after we had already purchased drinks. This place is so cute! I I saw someone post this place on their IG and I knew I had to try it out! This place is pretty easy to find and it has a warm vibe. It's super cute and a chill place to be. I got their milktea and it was pretty good! Next time I want to try their peach iced tea. They have outside seatings and when it gets cold, they'll have those heater things on. I also noticed that the place has that Korean shaved ice! I am not a red bean lover but they also have one without it. I asked what the difference was and the one with red bean has red bean, fruits, mochi, and other yummy things that I forgot. The one without it comes with extra fruit like blackberries, blueberries and etc.! Both of them come with ice cream on top so that's a plus! The perfect snack to get when it's hot outside. Parking here is pretty open. I didn't know but they have more parking to the side of the building. Although I do really enjoy studying here because it's a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, the wifi can be a lot of the times on and off. The past few times I've been I've struggled a bit being able to connect to the wifi. Aside from that though this place has a ton of seating both inside and outside, along with tons of access to outlet ports to charge your different devices (yes! even outdoors) Also their menu gives you a ton of different options to choose from, including sweet treats you can munch on mid study session. My personal favorite though is their ramen. It's an instant ramen packed to the brim of the bowl with various of ingredients including rice cakes and fish cakes galore. It's one of my favorite things to take a pause and munch on whenever I'm there. Additionally their Thai Milk Tea is definitely a 10/10, a classic that they never mess up everytime I've tried it!
