The serving "plates" are large, heavy stone slabs. They took up almost all the space on my table leaving little room for cutlery or drinks. They were so heavy that my server had trouble carrying them and setting them down. Once on my table, I could barely move/adjust them. Whoever chose these "plates" has never worked in a restaurant or had to run food. They are an absurd choice and where they are supposed to add to the ambience and decor, they only create awkwardness and give you a sense that management is trying to compensate for something with this gawky gimmick. Please get normal plates appropriate to the scale of your tables. It would add to the professionalism of the restaurant and save your employees' wrists!

I finished my meal and got up to pay, since the waiter otherwise didn't interact with me, and asked him to take the salad off the bill since I didn't eat it. He made a fuss saying you don't need dressing and he was too busy anyway. Oh well. The clients tend to be primarily locals, but there are a large number of tourists who discover it. The seating area is quite nice if you want to eat in, or you can do takeout. This is one of our favorite places in Odense and we can't wait to return.
