Fresh seasonal ingredients that are complemented and enhanced with the perfect flavor profiles. Nothing was too much - the flavors were balanced and kept you wanting more. So many things very obviously house made with the utmost care - from the fresh warm bread, to the perfectly spicy ginger beer, to the highest quality chocolate desserts. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely hospitable and welcoming - they seem to genuinely enjoy working there. I could get convinced that the reviews were trustworthy too. My husband and I were delighted by the quality of the coffee. I must say that i was hoping for a slightly higher "coolness factor" from the cafe interior itself, as there are some really interesting pieces of vintage coffee-making equipment and the barista school within the cafe, even plenty of certificates from numerous barista competitions, including one personal guiness record entry hanging on the wall..... which could all be made into a very hip environment.
