Very cool atmosphere!

Awesome ambiance! It's in an excellent location in Krakow. The staff is very nice and there's lots of seating. The cappuccino was very good and the vanilla creme brûlée was on point. This is a great place to come hang out with friends or to find a quiet spot to chill with some great coffee! Update: 5 hours later had an even better fruit drink. Discovered new room with an even better vibe

View of the greenhouse with eclectic decor

This unique cafe spreads across a few different cozy rooms, one of which is a greenhouse type room. But, my favorite section is the small garden area right outside the greenhouse. Be warned, this place gets quite busy so it can sometimes be hard to find a table. The food is only average (and many of the items on the menu weren't available) and the service is extremely slow but it's a nice calm place to read or chat with a friend over a cup of coffee. Nice break from the bustling touristy area right outside. Tip: If you plan on ordering a cappuccino, opt for the large cup for 2 extra zloty because you get more than double the amount of coffee.

This is a little hidden cafe near the Market square. It has two rooms separated by a corridor. I love the ambience, Christmas lights, wooden table and background acoustic cover music. Furthermore, the menu has a variety of options, including a selection of coffees and beer. If you are hungry, they have hot food as well including house made pierogis, hot soup and sandwiches. Around Christmas time, they also have a special menu, we got to try the mulled wine and beer. We stayed there for 2-3 hours because it was so cold outside, we wanted to try everything. I recommend this place for both the ambience and food selections. I love the seasonal mulled wine sorbet as well.

We managed to snag a nice outdoor table with a nice vibe with a couple of other restaurants around us all seating next to each other. Inside this place is adorable and so unique. The decor and colors and the art. Just a neat place. The food and drinks also on par with the ambiance. Service can be slow but we weren't in any hurry. We ordered a round of espresso martinis and my one friend had a sparkling Rosè. The martinis were a little milky looking which isn't my favorite but these tasted good and not to dairy forward. It had a little extra ingredients in it than your normal espresso martini. Which made it different too. Hazelnut vodka and amaretto. Worth a try. We tried the Brie and salad baguette and the berry cheesecake. Both of these were stellar and so good and fresh. Loaded with toppings on the baguette the Brie was nice and creamy. The tomatoes were delicious. The cheesecake was so crumbly and the compote on top was house made and very berry forward. All of it was just the perfect afternoon pick me up and we were so happy with the serving size and all the dressing up in the plate. So pretty. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. They make all their desserts in house I believe. They have some great looking ones displayed . Loved this place !

They have 3 levels of limited seating but it's seat yourself so you may be waiting for a table if it's busy. Hop in line and order from the counter. I had to get the hot chocolate because it's the thick kind you can only find in Europe. It went down like a dessert - you almost have to chew it. It's really good, if you like that type of chocolate. The service is excellent - I was helped by a young lady who was very personable. I asked if they took cash but I didn't have the exact amount and they didn't have enough to make change so I paid by card instead. Seems to be the more popular payment type anyway. Make time to stop by during your visit to Old Town - it's worth it!

I love this place. It's very cosy and charming. No loud music (come to think of I am not sure if…read morethere was music at all, but I guess there was, just not too loud) so guests don't need to yell at each other to have a conversation. BTW. I have noticed that many cafes and pubs of Krakow have this approach - which is great - that the background music is rather quiet. after all pub/cafe/restaurant guests come to have a meal/drink and to talk, not to listen to music. I have many wonderful memories from this cafe - meetings with friends for a drink and a chat throughout many years. the place is beautifully decorated and has a unique atmosphere. a very interesting interior, with a mezzanine along two walls in the main room. the mezzanine seating is ideal for a more private conversation or a date ;) even though alcohol is being served there, I haven't noticed any disruptive behaviour. the floor plan of the place (a few connected smallish rooms instead of a large one) prevents bigger groups or (heaven forbid) infamous bachelor parties from frequenting. Although this year I have visited this place on a weeknight so I can't speak for weekends... Altogether I really recommend this place. it is totally unpretentious and is really impressive for those who like antique furniture and decorations, without even trying. There is self service, so don't wait for somebody to take your order - you need to go to the bar to place it. but the staff will clear the tables of course. The cafe has a few connected rooms on the main level, the mezzanine and a medium size room on the second floor (it might be hard to find it) with its own bar, and a beautiful view from the window.

Major Taste Whipping in Poland?!?! Afraid so. Let's start…read morewith the extensive menu that had something for everyone but what jumped out at me as a kid that grew up in the 90's and a fan of Queen, was the "Highlander" breakfast. It came with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, whipped cottage cheese with spices, a piece Of fried cheese, fresh tomato wedges with a vinaigrette drizzle, and a Polish pretzel. Everything was delicious. If that weren't enough I ordered the Lemoncello waffle as well! Just WOW!! A crispy outside and soft fluffy inside with vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon infused whipped cream topped off this master piece. Every bit was a citric explosion with lime purée and fresh berries as a garnish, my tastebuds were in overdrive! Lastly, I had the BEST freaking Iced cafe mocha I have had since I got to Europe (18 days and counting) in between Vienna, Slovakia, Romania, I had to come to Poland to get a legit mocha. The customer service was also amazing! When you done have to look for your server, that is a good server. The ambiance was so relaxed and chill that even every table was full we were just as comfortable as we were when we were the only two people in the restaurant. Five freaking stars!
