Inside are more seats in an airy, colorful space, plus a cute loft area in the back. Great spot for a light meal, dessert, or drink, and a break from the heavier, traditional German foods favored in the area. Foods are along the lines of bruschetta, antipasti, and pizzas. The 30 cm pizzas are relatively thin crust, with many topping combinations to choose from, and gets a pass (if not a thumbs up) from this New Yorker. Antipasti are reasonably good; the platter that had a sampling of all included hard cheese and mozzarella, cured ham, olives, pickled peppers, grilled zucchini and eggplant, and a refreshing, tangy curry-mango spread. A slice of mandarin orange cream pie was unexpectedly delightful: creamy, light, and not very sweet. Cappuccino and coffee are fine. For something more modern and fun in Marktplatz, Genuss delivers. So now we are up to €418 for a 3 night stay. There was 1 "marriage" bed, and 1 tiny pull out bed for our friend. NOTHING for the toddler, even though we said we had one. Let's see, the room was FULL OF DUST, the carpet was disgusting beyond belief, stainef beyond anything I've ever seem. it was so dirty, you could see accumulated dirt on the corners. It was also full of hair; long hair. there was a hole in a wall, the covers they gave as extra were dirty, the balcony light was just there for show as we tried every single switch in the room and none turned the balcony light on, the water heater for coffee, had water left there probably from the last guest, it was full of calcium crust, breakfast was sub-par, and the lady tending to it would give us bad looks every time she would pass by, even though i would make sure to always pick up after my son and even after my husband and friend. I guess she didn't like that we had a hefty morning appetite. Do NOT STAY HERE! this hotel is a joke, it's way too expensive and way too run down for that price.
