Service was prompt but the prices are rather high. I will say, though, that since I am a vegetarian, I didn't get to try any of their meat dishes. Maybe that's where they shine instead?

Meh to Ice Bandung - this is a cordial-like drink with rose syrup and condensed milk but I hardly tasted the former. That qualified them for 3 stars. An additional star: Staff were very attentive and gracious when my stray arm hit the glass of water which went flying across the table, and immediately replaced it as well. Will come back here again - hopefully the restaurant sees this review and change the recipes to the dishes to make them more authentic.

I ordered the Roti Canai, Nasi Lemak with Sambal Prawn, and Singapore Laksa Lemak which had fish balls, chicken and tofu. All so delicious. The Roti was warm and buttery and when dipped in the curry it added a rich and savory bite. The Nasi Lemak with the perfectly cooked prawns were also amazing. Perfect texture and also savory to provide that warm and familiar asian comfort food. I'm not sure what the thin fried crackers are that came with it but that also added another flavor combination to try. Also so good. Finally, the Singapore Laksa was so delectable. The rich coconut curry broth and noodles paired with a bite of tender chicken, fishballs and/or tofu made for a super enjoyable dish. I came in for dinner towards the final hour before closing which may have gone in my favor since there was a table available when I walked in. The staff were very attentive, patient and friendly. Not a hugely different experience from another Asian restaurant. The problem with the owner choosing our dishes is that I have no idea what I ate! The main course was delicious, I had a chicken dish in a hot and spicey sauce with rice. My friend had a lamb curry-ish dish which he devoured. We just had ice cream to finish off as we were pretty full at this stage. Bonus points for Langkawi because they had lassi which I absolutely love but you can only get sometimes, I had a scrumptious mango lassi. Yum.

The owner and head chef, Alex, is a really nice guy and he managed to find the time to come out in between cooking delicious curry's and say hello to all the customers! The food, was so authentic and fresh and was really good. I had the prawn fritters to start (battered prawns with a sweet and sour sauce) and then the squid gulai curry as a main and it was fantastic! The squid tasted so fresh and the rice was very nice aswell! The sauce had a perfect spice and really flavorous taste to it. This is definitely worth a visit if your looking to go out to ballsbridge / town for dinner and want a delicious and not expensive Asian cuisine! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

They've got a variety of Regular Noodle boxes like Ho Fun, Honey Soy Chicken, Seafood, Teriyaki, and Pad Thai. With prices running between $5.50 and $7.50 (EUR, sorry I couldn't find the euro key). They even have Malaysian Boxes and Italian Boxes. Pretty good, pretty fast, I had the Seafood box btw which was good enough for me. Although my coworker said they added too much soy sauce to his. It is one of the nicest dishes I have ever had from a takeaway. It is pork in a deliciously crispy, and slightly sweet batter. It's drizzled with a mildly spicy black bean sauce. If you like crispy things then you will love this. They also do a mighty fine Mapo Tofu too. Once or twice they have forgotten something or made a mistake with my order but after a call they quickly supply me with what's missing usually with a little extra treat by way of apology. The staff are all lovely and get anything sorted right away. Shangri-La is now my go to takeaway for when I want to gorge myself. Well worth a try.

There are dishes from Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, China, and Thailand. It's a little overwhelming, but variety is the spice of life, right? I went for the Taiwanese Braised Pork with Rice (though you could get noodles instead of raise). The pork was delicious, and practically melted in my mouth. The dish came with a miso type soup beforehand, so between that and the bubble tea I left pretty stuffed. The cafe itself is decorated really cutely. The had lots of little Easter bunny stuff out (cause it's Easter). The honey toast looks pretty delicious. That'll be my next order at Mosa.
