Probably the only place in Lublin to have delicious pancakes....and a smoothie with the perfect consistently! The Very Berry was just the texture I was looking for and they offer several different bases (water, milk, yogurt or soy milk). Definitely my new favorite place. There are also puzzles and board games available and even a swing if you feel the need to be energetic! Basically, this is an awesome spot in Lublin. We got hot chocolates which were warm and yummy but Polish style so more like thick chocolate pudding. Have to stay warm somehow!!!

The fish and meat dishes are consistently delicious, while pastas and salads can vary in texture/taste. The cakes and tarts are wonderful though. Also there is a wide selection of uniquely brewed teas that are served in a classic teapot. One of my favorite aspects of Vanilla Cafe is the ever changing atmosphere of the place. They will update the decor according to the mood of the season. The downstairs leads to more seating that feels more intimate then the upstairs and is more appropriate for larger groups.

This is a come and read and write type of joint. Not a modern, plugin your electronics type of joint. The coffee took awhile to arrive (approx. 20 min.) but the wait was worth it. Perfectly hot to sip on and the flavor full of warmth. I chose the "kawa z wanilia i kakao" and I can taste the thickness of the dark chocolate and hints of vanilla and roasted beans. I added a small amount of milk, but it is unnecessary for the true coffee drinker. The brew is wonderful. The apple pie is perfect. Like a grandmother who baked her old, handed-down recipe. "Skarlotka na cieplo podawana z musem jablkowym" - you also have the option to add ice cream and whip cream ;) From the quality of these two items, I feel you can not go wrong with any ordered item.
