A good sign of an authentic, family-run spot is seeing the family gathered at a nearby table--either prepping food or just hanging out. The lamb was perfectly moist and easily outshined the average beef dumplings. The couch seating is extremely cozy--so comfortable you might end up ruining your posture. There are no vegetarian or chicken options, but I'd still go back to try the other dishes I didn't get to this time.

This is the kind of place you appreciate when you're in LA: the opportunity to have a variety of cultures coexisting in this city. Kyrgyzstan food! I've never traveled there so it intrigues me. The menu is pretty much beef or lamb so be forewarned. Had the lamb soup which was wonderful- there's some meat on the bones and 2 big chunks of tasty potatoes. Prices seem very affordable for this homemade food.

A gem, just across from The Wiltern! There are places nearby with lines...skip them, come here! Bulgogi quesadilla? Amazing. Kimchi steak taco? Not soggy, steak is lean, pico de gallo is perfect counterpoint. Street sandwich? Comfort food. Tortilla pizza? Fantastic (but get the sriracha mayo and Tabasco to accentuate the positive). Beverages? Dynamite. Whiskey with fresh strawberry puree? As good as any tiki bar. Gin with lemonade and lemon cello with sparkling water? Delicious and dangerous. Not for nothing, service has been great both times Highly recommend, looking forward to coming back again!

Very pretty decor. The seats are pretty comfortable! SERVICE: Friendly service! Only two employees but quick service! They refilled the waters and made sure to ask if we needed anything constantly. FOOD: I got the street sandwhich and my friend got the shrimp burger. Pretty good overall! I did feel like my sandwich was pretty small but when I tried finishing it, I barely could! It was filled with so much delicious egg. The bread was a bit thinner than I like. However, I loved it! The drinks were a bit too sweet like they didn't mix it entirely and the syrup sat at the bottom. YUM. not too heavy or oily. perfect spice level. this would be in my to-go roto if i lived here. - beef noodle soup. only tasted the noodles and bokchoy, but both were dank. again with the fresh and perfectly cooked noodles. the broth.... get it!! YUMd: - taro milk tea. love that they use actual taro and not just a premade mixture or packet. light, nutty, delicious. service, etc.: got takeout on a sunday night and it was packed and busy! super cute spot. dude double checked our bag to ensure everything was in there. literally cant beat the price either. really sad they were out of most of their veggie dishes.

The braised pork belly was so incredibly soft and melt-in-your-mouth, and paired with the pickled carrots and cucumbers tucked into that steamed bao bun - so juicy. We also got the scallion pancakes which were crispy, chewy, and came with a soy ginger dipping sauce. The wood ear mushroom and bean curd stick salad was a nice lighter contrast to the heavier dishes too. We tried the beef noodles as well. The noodles were a bit on the tougher side, which is kind of expected with this style, but the flavors were solid overall. But do NOT sleep on dessert. I had to order the deep fried bao bun with ice cream scoop inside and it was delicious. Absolutely worth saving room for if you're looking to end your meal off with a sweet treat! Parking is easy with plenty of street parking nearby. Love that there's both indoor and outdoor seating - the patio outside is perfect for bigger groups at night, and the inside has its own aesthetic vibe that's equally great. Great service, good vibes, and delicious food. I'll be coming back!
