Such a quaint and cozy little place with friendly service, fun decor, trinkets from local artists and small businesses, and plenty of outdoor seating for you and your furry friends. Foggy but kinda warm Saturday morning. Ambiance was classic Pacifica, beachy and funky and comfortable. We ordered and grabbed a table outside in front. Lots of seating, chatted with a couple with a cute toddler and 2 corgies in a wagon!!! Hubby had an iced coffee and I had a latte... it was perfect. Such an awesome local place! Picked up a couple of bagel sandwiches (highly recommend the Land Lubber) and we were in and out in 5 minutes. It does get pretty packed on the weekends so come early. Unclear of the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff. We had just visited the Pacifica pier and wanted to support this neighborhood business. Hubby ordered the fish and chips which came with 3 pieces of fish. I didn't try it. It looked very generic previously frozen fish. I wanted chicken tenders as nothing else on the menu interested me. They ran out. I ended up with regular fries for under $7 which was a generous portion but they were just frozen ones they heated up. Like what can get at the supermarket, Ore Ida. After our walk at the pier, I headed to Cafe Pacifica. It's a great little spot. I ordered a vanilla latte with oatmilk and an everything bagel (an Italian) and I was able to scrambled eggs. Man. I don't like to go under 3 stars if I can avoid it especially right now. But the things I list, I think work as constructive rather than destructive and I hope that the people reading agree. Don't use my review as an excuse not to go- please go and see if you can disagree with me because that's honestly what I would love. I would love to read about how much you love the place. Review: No. No thanks. -I don't mind the vaccine card only restrictions before it was put into law. -I don't mind sitting outside. -I don't mind having to get my own order after being told it would be brought out to us. -I don't mind using a plastic fork to eat my eggs and a clear plastic to-go container to eat my food instead of a plate. -I don't like that their isn't a bathroom. Give us food and drinks but not restroom? We have to come in to order, we have to come in to pick up our food, why can't we use bathroom? -I don't like being screamed at when the order is ready- no names are taken so what was being screamed from inside the restaurant to the outside patio in order to summon me was "EXTRA SAUSAGE" which is kind of funny now but was abrasive in the moment. Even the other guests were a shocked and made a couple jokes to take the edge off. -I don't like the very poor quality of the food. Breakfast is the easiest and probably the cheapest meal, and after ordering this, I would have preferred McDonalds. Same quality or worse but at least I could use the restroom and not have someone yell at me. Redeeming Factors: -I did really like my Pacifica Fog drink made with heavy cream and sugar free vanilla sweetener. This was actually pretty great. -It's right along the main street, easy to spot. They recommend you use the restroom on the Pier. You know, the one directly behind the other café in town, that's right on the ocean, which I am sure knows how to make tea. So, would I come back? We always come to this place for breakfast when we head to the dog beach around the corner. It's a really nice little spot with outdoor seating, though it's limited with only like 4 4-person tables. However, this place is right next to some office space that has benches surrounding it and so I think that's a better place to enjoy the food especially not during covid. The breakfast food is always pretty good! We enjoy their coffees and their bagels are always really fresh. I've ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bagels and also the avocado and spice bagels. The food can sometimes take a bit long (one time I waited about 20 minutes) but the breakfast food is great. read more

I was looking for a breakfast place near by after my hike by the pier. Saw Cafe Pacifica and came in. A cute place with lots of food to choose from. I decided to try the Venus Omelette. It came with toast so I ordered hashbrown patty extra. The food was pretty good. I must try some of the other food on the menu next time. Small quant place with lots to see. My partner and I were crabbing at the Pacifica Pier one early morning and were in desperate need of some coffee and food. Since Cafe Pacifica was so close, I decided to walk over to grab some sustenance for us. Since it was pretty early in the morning at around 8am or so on a weekday, there wasn't a wait. I had a couple questions about the menu and the cashier was pretty patient and answered my questions accordingly. Their menu is pretty big and has different types of coffees/teas, smoothies, bagels, omelettes, wraps, burgers, and salads. That day there were out of croissants unfortunately. I ended up ordering the Breakfast Panini with Bacon, the Morning Bagel with Ham, a Hot Chocolate, and a regular coffee. The prices were a bit high for everything, after tip I paid about $30. But I get it, it's a nice area with some pretty high rent I'm sure. My order was ready in less than 5 minutes and the cashier brought it to the window for me. The breakfast panini was a bit disappointing. The bread was a thin slice of white sandwich bread and the sandwich wasn't pressed or grilled, but rather toasted in a toaster or something. It was fine, but certainly overpriced for something I could have made at home for less than $8. The Morning Bagel with Ham was loaded with Ham (definitely appreciated!), and the cheese was melted nicely as well. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of liquid and it soaked through the wrapping paper of my bagel. I wasn't quite sure whether the liquid was from the ham or the egg. The hot chocolate was nice and chocolatey and definitely helped warm me up in the cold morning. The coffee was ok, just regular coffee. Overall, everything wasn't exceptional but it did hold me over. read more

I came here at noon after a morning hike and had only one thing in mind: smoothies. All smoothies are $7.50 each and unfortunately, they didn't have mango juice in stock which meant 5 out of 9 of their smoothie options could not be made. The other combinations had a mixture of banana which I personally didn't fancy. The cashier said that she could sub the mango juice in the Hawaiian Sunset with apple juice and while it's definitely not the same, I wasn't about to be picky after a long trek. In the end, it didn't turn out too bad. The decor and theme of this place is super cool and beachy. They have an outdoor patio great on summer days and are dog-friendly. I don't necessarily care for the food here, but would definitely stop by for a drink and to chit-chat with some friends. read more

My only hesitation for coming back was that the prices have gone up since what I have seen online. Everything up by over a dollar. Basically puts this place at the same price range as everything else around here. $11 (after tax) for a bagel sandwich is kinda high. I'd say this is a two $$ place vs. the one $ that's shows on yelp. Also it's $.50 more for ice if you want to pour coffee over ice. read more

We had a great outdoor lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon after a late morning hike to nearby Mori Point. Great food; pleasant, Covid-conscious service; and a cute front porch seating area. I enjoyed my Gangsta Wrap with sausage - this egg, hash brown, avocado and salsa filled wrap was delicious. My husband liked his Cluckster chicken sandwich with fries. The service was reasonably friendly and fairly efficient. The only thing that was confusing was that they specifically have a sign on their window stating that vaccinated customers can use the restroom, but they told us they aren't allowing anyone to use the restroom. They need to remove the signage that indicates otherwise. We went on June 16, after the California reopening, and really appreciated the fact that this business is continuing to require masks inside. I think this is a wise and safe decision and frankly, this helped convince me I should eat here today! (Thank you for being responsible business owners!) The front porch had 6 small tables with a marine-themed decor - it was cute and a great spot to enjoy our meal outdoors. We live in nearby San Francisco and look forward to returning soon! read more

Lovely cafe near the beach in Pacifica with a great patio giving you the choice of inside or outside dining. They have a bathroom that's always clean - I've been coming for years. Staff and the owner are very kind and get your order out quick. They make one of the best London Fogs in the city (called Pacifica Fog on their menu). Most baristas will go the easy route of brewing the tea in half a cup of hot water and pour milk for the remainder; not Cafe Pacifica! They make it the correct way by steaming your choice of milk and allowing the tea to brew in it. Not to mention, their bagels are amazing and made how you would at home - fully indulgent with lots of cream cheese. read more

We arrived at 7:35 am hungry looking forward to a great breakfast but it was dark with a closed sign in the window. I've known of this place since 2014 when we met the first owner (I believe). We came back recently and were pleased to find that some, if not most, of the items from 2014 were still on the menu. But the "gangsta wrap" might be better now than it was before! We had seen other reviews on cafe Pacifica and decided to try it. The tables are on an outside covered deck. The deck is open and very pleasant to sit. The bagel with cream cheese and salmon was one of the best we have eaten. The fried fish and fries was better than any we've eaten in UK. There was just one man taking orders, cooking and serving and yet the service was faster than other restaurants and he was very pleasant as he literally ran from table to kitchen and back. Try it. Ambiance is rather cozy yet quirky; there are random pictures and knicknacks around the walls. Be sure to check their hours, since they're not always open in the afternoon. I came around 1:45 for a small lunch to-go. The girl at the counter mentioned that since they were closing at 2, there would be a limited hot menu of only bagels and sandwiches rather than their usualy wraps and plates. That was fine; I got an Piggy on a Blanket on an asiago bagel (cream cheese, avocado, and bacon) and a small mocha. Everything was pretty good. The bagel was toasted and came with a generous portion of bacon strips. If you don't like too much cream cheese, I would suggest getting it on the side. It was a bit pricey at $8 though tastes good. The mocha was decent as well, though could have been slightly warmer. I think I prefer the Chit Chat by Manor to this Cafe, though I like this one better than the Chit Chat on the pier.
