Came here as recommendation from the place we were staying. We came on Sunday at 8pm without a reservation and were able to be seated in 15 minutes.
Ambiance (4 stars):
They have a small bar (4 seats) and around 10 tables (each seats about 4) in 3 different rooms. The place looks like someone's house, nothing special.
Food (4 stars):
Menu (it's pretty large has about 4 fish options, 1 lamb, 4 pork, 4 beef, 4 game mains. 5 soups, a few salads...)
Prices range from 20€ to 40€ for mains.
We ordered:
- garlic soup - comes in a bread bowl, very strong taste, almost like an alfredo sauce taste
- weiner schnitzel
- veal with mushrooms (4 stars) - tasty but nothing outstanding.
- zwiebelrostbraten (beef with lots of onions) (3.5 stars) - good but nothing outstanding. The potatoes were a too salty for my liking.
Dinner with drinks for 4 people came out to 112 Euros.
Service (3 stars):
One of the people (who spoke german) asked for zwiebelrostbraten and specified he is vegeterian, the waitress did not listen and brought him with the meat. When he complained again he was given a lot of sass, but was given a different meal at the end. read more
