I must say. Not good at all. Ordered chicken wings because I was starving and it was just frozen wings retried. How do I know? One of the bones were stone cold. Ordered chicken Caesar salad and got something else. No biggie. It happens. However my chicken came out literally steaming. We gave Cafe Roma's a second chance after a HORRIBLE experience the first time we visited in 2022. I should have followed my instincts since NOTHING about the poor customer service has changed. Don't EVER go there if you want quality customer service or anything that resembles timeliness. On both occasions, it took an unusual amount of time just to be acknowleged; not to mention, the 20 minutes, on both occasions, waiting just to get a drink order. There's more. This time we actually tried to place our order as soon as the waitress (pun intended because of the long WAIT) came to the table. NOPE, she said she wasn't going to do that because she had other tables to attend to. Of course, we told her to forget about it as we got up and left. I may be wrong, but I believe she was the OWNER. When I tell you that me, my family or friends will EVER patronize this low-budget restaurant imposter, I cannot emphasize EVER. I would NOT recommend going there if you're hungry or expecting quality customer service as you will scratch your head trying to figure out what the hold up is. If it's crowded, I'll pray for you to have the patience of Job. You will need it. You're better off taking yourself to the Mellow Mushroom. You'll get better service at a fast food chain. I'm baffled as to how they remain in business. It's not the great service because that doesn't exist there; and from the first visit, the food is mediocre at best for Italian. Something tells me that the nonchalant customer service is systemic in the culture of that particular place as they probably think they're the only show in town. News break, you're not. Tasty lunch in downtown Enterprise; we had sandwiches and fries and it was really good; great service as well.

We had our farewell Sunday luncheon for some of our closest church friends, who are moving to Germany. The ambience is great, and the staff is very accommodating. Our server, Katrina, was fantastic. She was prompt, polite, and professional, with a very sweet demeanor. She (and the kitchen staff) nailed all the weird variations to menu items requested by my equally weird friends. I ordered the chicken pasta (hold the shrooms, please), which is my go-to menu item at Cafe Roma, and my wife ordered a calzone. The food was well prepared and presented, and came in reasonable portions. My only complaint (very minor) is that I had to ask for a refill on my sweet tea shortly before we left. Otherwise, it was an awesome experience; we will be back. read more

Service was slow three parties in restaurant and ot took 50 minutes to get food. Had the orleans shrimp pizza, NO Orleans flavor, strong raw o ion flavor and raw garlic overpowered the mild shrimp. Would have so much better if the onions were sauteed and the garlic was roasted not any other flavor. Wait staff seemed to forgot about us . No water til we asked. The guest at the table came in after us had been served before us. The waitress never checked on us to see if we wanted anything else to drink or if our food was good. The food here was delicious! We are big Weird Al fans and we're driving back from PCB to Birmingham and stopped in Enterprise to see the Boll Weevil Monument. We stopped in because it was lightning like crazy! My husband ordered a small chicken pasta, daughter ordered chicken fingers and I got the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. Everything was great!! First let me say that my two experiences with this restaurant are so drastically different. We first ordered Cafe Roma to be delivered through TakeoutStar, and the food was delicious and well seasoned. Everything about the experience was good and that made us decide to go to the actual restaurant. We arrived and there was no one to greet us until a waitress poked her head out from around a booth and asked if we were dining in. Then for the next few minutes it felt like we were being pressured to order quickly. After that the waitress seemingly couldn't be bothered with our table even though we were one of only two patrons in the restaurant. When the food did come out it was bland, bland, bland. Mind you we ordered the same food as the first time. The chicken in the chicken Alfredo was dry and hard to chew. The pepperoni pizza we ordered for our 3 year old came out with just cheese. Their solution was to just add pepperoni and reheat the just cooked pizza. This made the pizza extremely greasy and the cheese was congealed and hard for her to bite through and chew. Going back to the wait staff (3 persons with only 2 patrons), they are wildly in attentive after you place your order, as they are very visibly sitting on their phones the entire time. They make zero attempt to make you feel welcome and in fact I felt like I was impeding on their phone time instead of helping them earn their paycheck. It's pretty good. The pasta is a bit greasy but the portions are huge and the flavors are delicious. I go here when I want to have pasta for lunch and dinner because I always have enough leftovers to eat a full meal again. I find myself craving it which is certainly an endorsement. The garlic bread is a lot like sauce-less cheese pizza. The waitress told me there is a garlic spread under the cheese but I just can't taste it. The Caesar salad doesn't come pre mixed and it comes in a small bowl that makes it very hard to mix the dressing in. It's just a really weird choice for Caesar presentation and I don't enjoy it. I don't love the space. It seems pretty thrown together and a little dingy and I just don't like places that have a tv going while I'm trying to talk and eat. Despite the negatives, it really is worth trying the food. The pastas are great and they are very willing to accommodate you if you want to substitute some things or change the pasta base. It's yummy. My family loves the chicken parm and I love the dish with feta and artichokes. read more

First time eating here since they relocated from Daleville to Enterprise. Very spacious dining area. Plenty of room for large dinner groups. The waitress was friendly and gave me plenty of time to order; however, wasn't quite paying attention to if I needed a refill. It was empty for lunchtime service, which I would've expected it to be busier due to the location of being downtown. I ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap. The wrap (bread) looked as if it was freshly made. It was soft, yet crunchy. The wrap was a perfect amount of food for $7.99. Their dessert menu had a nice variety of cheesecakes. I hate to leave this review but this place is taking a nose dive. They used to have some of the best Italian in town, and at times they do, but I'm afraid the front of house is ruining this place. Tonight we ordered a simple to go order. Pizza, salad, calzone and lasagna. Nothing special and no unique requests. Unfortunately, multiple issues occurred. We were told 15-20 min to pickup. It was 40, which I would have been willing to let go. But, as soon as we came to pay the issues started. There was one other to go order and they charged them for our food. Ok, no worries, they have to correct their ticket which they overcharged and not ours. Ours is still being made. But, that was only the first thing. I didn't see a ticket and they didn't call my order back to me to check and of course there was one item wrong. Again, I was willing to let it go. When I pointed it out to them they let me know I was under charged and needed to pay the difference. Ok, after waiting 40 minutes and then having an order wrong and having to pay more, I'm getting irritated. I get to the register and the lady tells me they are busy and that's why they messed up. There are no other to go orders, and I know this because they keep their tickets at the register which I saw when they realized they screwed up the person before me, and there are only 3 tables in the place. I bite my tongue, pay more money and leave only mildly annoyed. Then, I get home which is 15 minutes away and find plastic I my salad! I'll be going to Mellow Mushroom from now on. read more

Friend ordered ham and cheese sandwich with no tomato. Server said they did not have any lettuce because of ban on Romaine. He asked if he could substitute avocado for tomato. She said ok but then charged him $1.50 for the avocado. My wife had pasta with Alfredo sauce which she said was good. I and friends wife had Lasagna which was good. We came in for lunch. Ordered a large pizza (cheese), a chicken Parmesan with a salad and two wraps. It took an hour to get our food. There was another party that was seated at the same time we were. They got their food, ate, packed to go boxes, paid their bill and were gone before we even saw our food. This is my grandson's favorite place to eat in the world. Ms. Hannah was not there the last time we went and he was so upset. Our server texted her and she called him at the restaurant to see how he was doing. The food is pretty good and the service is great. The only downside is that parking can be a problem due to the downtown location. The atmosphere is truly wonderful. If you bring the kids, or out for a date night, you will be able to find your spot there. They always greet you when you come in and tell you to sit where you like, except for Ms. Hannah who comes out on the sidewalk to greet my grandson who she calls her little buddy. They have a room in the back if you have a special event. I would recommend calling ahead for this. For the grown-up, they have numerous pasta dishes as well as pizza. The wine selection is pretty good and you can get it by the glass or bottle. Obviously, we are partial to Ms. Hannah, but all the other young women that work there provide great service as well.
