The pho is decent, but their menu is very confusing and the workers are always incredibly rude. I was having issues with my debit card due to my bank blocking it for a suspected fraud charge. I called to get it unlocked and a very rude worker that was a woman told me that she did not want to run my card because it's a $.20 charge every time and I told her she could charge me the $.20 charge if it was such an issue and she went on to explain how inconvenient it was for her. Most of my experiences here I deal with rude workers. Definitely the last straw for me will no longer come back. read more

I've been here once before and was pleased with the food. The food is still ok, but the wait was long and awkward. The noodles were pre portioned in zip lock bags, which would be fine but my noodles were still all stuck together in the broth. Another reviewer stated that if they got busy they would be in trouble and that's the truth. Place is clean enough, but no music, cheap plastic pho spoons, and they were storing boxes and Christmas decor along one side of the restaurant so we had to squeeze past each other at the fountain machine. I went for my first time last night. I walked in and I was the only person there. Wasnt sure where yo go to order as there really was not a sign or indicator whether I pay or go through the line first, so I asked. A salty lady walked from the back acting like I should know and rolling her eyes. (Whatever, right?) So I go to order from their Menu, and clearly it is fucked. You guys need to organize that menu. Its chaotic to look at. So I ask, what's this, what can I put in it, and the more questions I asked, the more annoyed she got. They are very cheaply made portions. The meat tasted like it was on its last day and the noodles were the cheapest noodles that broke apart while trying to stir them up in the juice. The only thing I would say was flavorful, was the broth for the pho. The basil was bad, the limes were half brown and the spring rolls were 50% shredded lettuce that tasted like it was turning, 35% rice noodles and the rest was the protein and it was barely rolled tight so it just fell apart. I will never be going back. If you know good vietnamese food, this is not it. Drive the extra 8 miles. read more

This is one of the best experience I've ever had when it comes to trying something new. Pho(Pronounced Fah) is awesome! My wife says the longer you let your Bun sit, the better it gets. John and Jay where very patient at explaining the whole Pho thing to a newcomer. Emmm hard to say, I never eat at there, I used to work for their Vender's company. The lady I used to talk with prob the owner is kind of rude, "Stupid" is the most frequently word she talk to me. Emmm just be kind to people, you business will grow more faster. read more

This place is amazing! All the food is very fresh and restaurant is very clean. The Pho is to die for and I have also had the spring rolls and the vermicelli noodle bowl. All of it was delicious. Don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is also stellar! read more

Today was the first time that I've had a bad experience . I ordered a large combination pho and spring rolls to go . After My order was done I was told there wasn't any veggies for the pho cause they were out . Ok that's fine I guess . I come home which is 5 minutes away and I see that the soup is not properly wrapped in plastic wrap like it usually is and half the soup is in the bag and in my spring rolls . Great concept for fast Vietnamese food! You order at the counter, and you can get a sandwich, vermicelli noodle or spring roll with any protein you choose and it is made to order in front of you (Cafe Rio style). We were so excited when we saw the Opening Soon Signs close to our home. We have been going to the Cafe Trang on State Street in Murray for years, which is amazing! We quickly learned it is not owned by the same people and it certainly shows. This is NOT a restaurant. It is more like a cafeteria with restaurant pricing. You stand in line to order and watch them make your food as you wait and no matter how many people are in line these folks move like turtles. Vietnamese food particularly Pho is something we have enjoyed for many years. However this place made the worst Pho we have ever had. The broth tasted like it was full of Cinnamon. $9 for a to go bowl of soup and they also charge an extra .50 cents for a to go bowl for the soup plus tax is very pricy. Especially for standing in line. My daughter got a sandwich which was full of some sort of odd hoisin sauce that she did not enjoy. Egg rolls were small and good but overpriced. Spring rolls were ok but also overpriced. Watching the guy rolling them was painful. So sad to say we are so disappointed and will not be going back. If we are going to spend $30 for lunch for 2 we would rather go to a restaurant to be served and get food we really enjoy. read more

It's fine. I looked up the Cafe Trang menu before we went and was excited to try certain dishes. When we got there it was just a small branch of the original, I guess, where you picked from a limited option of items in more of a Panda Express type line rather than being served. I was pretty disappointed. It didn't have any of the Asian food I really like. My husband was disappointed too but said he wouldn't mind going back if someone else really wanted to. read more

I like the pho and I feel like I get my money's worth with that. My fiancé loves the vegetarian sandwich and gets it often, they recently started making the tofu fresh which he was ecstatic about. This was my first visit to Cafe Trang. The food was just ok. We ordered the noodles with pork and egg rolls. The noodles were good, but the egg rolls were sub par, not to mention for four egg rolls, it was $8!! Overall I was not impressed. Cost for 4 people was about $50, without drinks.
