Both were freshly baked being brought out from what I assume was the bakery/kitchen in the back. The strudel and ice cream was divine, warm, chewy, and easily the best strudel I had so far while touring around Germany. As for the tiramisu, it was unlike any tiramisu I have ever had, as the texture was more a resemblance of a soft sponge cake. I do not mean this in a bad way either, strong balance of coffee and cake, easily could've had another piece honestly. I cannot comment on any savory dishes, but the sweets were worth it alone! Great prices, great service, and great sweets, how could you go wrong?

I chose the most delicious, flavorful, creamy pomegranate with a sweet syrupy fruit drizzle. It was vegan too! Unreal! It was piled high on a crispy fresh waffle cone and it totally had me "oohing" & "ahh-ing". The kiddos had pistachio and stracciatella, and equally enjoyed theirs. It was a tad more expensive here than we had been used to, but still VERY reasonable. The signature logo stamped cookie to top is extra. The joint is cash only. What really made this simple take-out only (with the exception of two high tops in the corners) place stand out, was the super friendly sweet girls behind the counter. Both absolute dolls! We enjoyed this while strolling the gorgeous area out front. Perfect way to end the night! I feel it's so authentic because of how close it's located to Italy.
