This is one of my favorite coffee place! We discovered Cafecita at Hollywood Farmer's market, and since then we visit from downtown LA! Our favorite is the cappuccino (both iced and hot!) with unsweetened almond milk, which we are really grateful for because we are keto! The cappuccino is really rich and balanced flavor while it gives us so much energy without heavy feeling or jitters! Cafecita is located inside Flora Grubb Gardens, and I can't think of a more perfect place to relax and sip on a latte. There are plenty of seating areas throughout the gardens, including several nicely shaded spots that make it easy to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. My only minor gripes are that the cup sizes are on the smaller side, and that they consider chai a seasonal item--even though hot chocolate is still on the menu. On the plus side, there's plenty of parking available within the gardens, which makes it an easy stop. Overall, a really lovely place for a coffee break surrounded by plants. read more

What a gem! So glad I stopped by Flora Grubb and found Natalie at C,afecita. The photos of the sipping area say it all. So very peaceful, and couldn't be greener. Woman-owned, and coffees from women-owned farms. Currently open at 8 a.m. on Th, F, S & S. Natalie is a cyclist and mentioned they are planning a bike ride on September 7. Right on the property of Tansy you will find this coffee cart. They serve delicious coffee drinks. I'm a cold brew kind of gal so I got just that with easy whole milk. It tasted delicious. They use single origin coffees which I appreciate much. It's good quality coffee served right. The ambiance here is great. Feels like you are sitting in someone garden, there are many beautiful plants all around. Couple of picnic tables under umbrellas and shades of trees. I found out about Cafecita thru Yelp and how it replaced another coffee truck. The location is airy and cute with shared outdoor seating. The customer service was great and the staff member was friendly. There was no queue on Friday at around 11am, and I didn't wait long to get my drink. I ordered an iced Tumeric Ginger Latte, which was fragrant and had a nice color. However, I can't give a 5-star rating because the drink didn't meet my expectations. The drink was quite pricey ($10 as of 9/6/2024) for its size compared to other coffee shops in Burbank. I thought that the drink tasted grainy and the oat milk (default for this drink) diluted the coffee overall. I'm unsure if I'd get this drink again. If I return to Cafecita, then I'd like to try something else such as the Spicy Mocha. read more

I first tried the iced latte at the coffee trailer at Flora Grubb (which felt like a hidden gem speakeasy cafe garden with lots of seating and a chill vibe). It was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly extracted. I'm super picky about third wave coffee and I've likely tried a majority of the well known ones in LA and I've gotta say this latte was amazing. The barista was actually the owner. She was super friendly and shared about her mission to support women owned farms. She recommended the Marcala beans for my home cafe set up. Cafecita has become my go-to coffee spot in Burbank! I stop by at least 2x a week to get my coffee fix! i'm a little boring with my order and ALWAYS have to get a black cold brew from them (which is divine - one of the best i've had!). their lattes are also super delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness. the owner even told me they make all their syrups in house. if you want to treat yourself their, cinnamon bun is also super tasty. read more

The coffee is just really good. The atmosphere in the courtyard Cafecita is in is really cute and has different vendors with beautiful jewelry and things, so the vibe is great as well. I got coffee for home there too because they do sell whole bags. The owner also actually cares about the mission and makes it clear even in that small space. There is information about the coffee and its sustainable sourcing from the women-owned coffee plantations around the world, so it just beats other coffee that I've tried on multiple fronts. Just left this place and please make sure to be SUPER SUPER clear with your order. I asked "can you guys make a mocha that's NOT spicy" and the cashier said "yeah absolutely" which I responded "great, let me get that." It wasn't until I was halfway home and took my first sip that they gave me a spicy mocha. As someone who has a sensitive stomach with spicy things... I knew I had to throw it away which was such a waste of $11... they were also in a rush cause a bunch of cyclists showed up at the same time I did. My family and I had a wonderful experience at this cute cafe! We ordered an iced latte, spicy mocha, vanilla latte, and hot chocolates for the kids and everything was delicious and obviously made with care. We loved that all the syrups are homemade and made with natural ingredients. The vanilla latte was by far the best I've ever had! The barista was friendly and sweet, she explained that Cafecita partners with sustainable women-owned farms and that they roast all of their own coffees. We can't wait to come back! read more
