After having hard time deciding what to order, since the selection is mind blowing, we went for a giant slice of strawberry cheese cake and chocolate cake. Both very ritch, creamy and flavorful. We ordered coffee and tea to wash it all down. Total bill came down to around 10€. An excellent value for the quality and portion size. 3.5€ per slice. This is a must stop for people with a sweet tooth. Offering food branches as well.

I could imagine the cakes might be good judging from their looks (about 3-4 stars). I believe that the bakers have put a lot of passions and time in making those delicious-looking cakes. However, I also believe that they need to put their hearts into service providing at the same time. I hope that they would one day improve their service and hospitality which is as important as the taste and the quality of the food. Then I would like to visit there again and finally try their cakes. Personally, I think service and hospitality are really important in business field. Who would pay for bad services? Moreover, I believe every customer has the right to receive proper service which they pay for. To be more precise to what happened, we (my friend and I) sat on a table and waited for about 20 to 30 minutes. We were wondering if it's self-service or they would come to ask for our order. But while we were waiting, a waiter saw me which I was sure because he looked me in the eyes, but he didn't say anything. Then the same waiter came to take order of a table next to ours. I thought it's really weird because how could they not know if we hadn't ordered anything. There must be a system like order paper or even seeing two customers sitting without any food for almost half an hour. I almost walked to the counter and asked if they were going to come and take the order, but on the second thought I didn't want to pay for this kind of service anymore. So we left. Professionally, I hope my review would help the restaurant to improve what they're lacking. I look forward to seeing better future reviews that would make me go back to this place again.

When she came back she sighed loudly and mumbled in spanish. Clearly not Happy about having to help the stupid tourist. Making sure everyone around us knew. I normaly dont care when people act like this (people are people) but I had my baby with me in a stroller and that is always a little bit more stressfull. RUDE RACIST SERVER. DON'T GO HERE. I experienced racism by a woman in her late 20s/maybe early 30s…read morewith medium length dyed-blond hair working behind the take away count, who refused to serve me yesterday 8 April. 2023. I was standing in line to grab a few croissants for my son while he was in another shop. She skipped over me and served the next person behind me first, who was a tourist and made her request in English to the the racist woman working at the counter. When there were no more customers waiting in line, she pretended not to see me and started pretending to sort the pastries (I say "pretending" because there were plenty of pastries and they did not need any sorting behind the glass encasement), while I was obviously still standing right behind the counter. Then when she had no choice as there was no one else in line, she finally looked at me reluctantly and asked me what I wanted in English in a very rude manner. I speak Spanish, French, Korean and English pretty much fluently and have lived in Europe, US & Asia. It is a disgrace that your place located in the heart of the tourist area employs not only someone who is racist toward Asians, who bring tourist dollars to help the restaurants and shops in Valencia, but incredibly RUDE. I know that the woman working there is unpleasant and probably ignorant because she is unhappy with her own life, but the management of Granier should do a better job of training its employees especially in locations in key areas where foreigners bring money. I feel sorry for this woman working behind your counter, but she just showed the ugly side of Valencia, I'm sad to say, as this was not the only racist incident. We have not experienced racism in Madrid, Barcelona, London, Paris, Amsterdam or other cities at international levels, and I was hoping for a more civilized experienced here. I would give this location a negative 10, but I have to give it at least 1 star for this to be published. I recommend that Asians think twice about going to this location. Also, read the reviews about the lack of cleanliness and RUDE people working at this Granier location on Google, which has many more reviews. I have been to another Granier in Valencia, where the people were also busy, but not rude and racist, like this one.
