This has got to be one of the randomest coffee stops I've ever made…read more I was in San Sebastian trying to bus it back to Bilbao, and I discovered on Google Maps that it would be faster and cheaper to take a bus to Zarautz and then transfer to another bus to Bilbao. I like an adventure, so I looked for a coffee shop in Zarautz and found Native. Arrived to find it was inside a market where it was bustling! Went to the counter to order to discover the barista is from Chicago. Random! We chatted as I waited for my coffee, which was excellent. The people of Zarautz should be stoked to have such a great coffee shop here. Can't imagine I'll ever be in the position to be in this part of the world again. Too bad.

Came to cafe bertiz on my first day in Spain and I was blown away by their huge selection of…read morepastries and large coffee and tea special menu. Baguettes of every size, mini croissants dipped in chocolate, palmiers; you name it, they had it. I opted for a cappucino with cinnamon, it was only €1,70. So delicious! They also had many specialty coffees and drinks you wouldn't find in typical cafes around Spain, such as iced caramel iced lattes and yogurt smoothies. I believe this place is a chain in Bilbao, but still delicious nonetheless. I myself enjoy the hot coffees but if you're craving a sweet iced coffee definitely check this place out.
