The most amazing food on the island. Best breakfast spot in all of south Kona! We tried three different coffee and all three were delicious. A hidden gem. The family of this family owned business are very sweet and kind.

Friendliest staff and perfect spot on the balcony to view the coast from up high. Food was excellent and coffee to die for. The geckos were an added bonus and super friendly.

Egger Florian and Coconut Mocha. Simple yet delicious (and the fruit was fresh!)

Their coconut mocha iced coffee was delicious and the Florian Egger was simple yet flavorful. I came here because of the good reviews, and they weren't lying. The terrace seating is a really nice touch. Coffee and a view of the ocean. Very serene. The young woman who took my order was polite and brought out my drink and food quickly. Definitely try their white chocolate blackberry iced coffee. It's sweet, but not overly so. The blackberry is such a nice touch!

Peaceful little breakfast spot with seating overlooking the ocean. Has lots of breakfast, lunch, and pastry options and everything was very good! Would recommend stopping in or having a meal!

Great little breakfast place. Cute inside and nice deck outside with a view of the ocean. Very friendly staff. We had lattes, with oat milk and they were delish. Also shared the Mediterranean bagel, cream cheese with olive tapenade, which was very good. We will definitely come back.

The food is phenomenal especially that mini cream puff. That's to die for. And it is overlooking the coastline. It was a very relaxing afternoon after all the visiting, hiking and swimming. It's good to lay back a bit and enjoy the scenery.

My most favorite Cafe in South Kona. Always such friendly and quick service and the food is delicious. I like to order the Nutella Heaven pastry every time I come here. It's the best Nutella pastry I ever had. The cafe itself is always so clean and inviting and has the most beautiful views. I highly recommend this Cafe/ Bakery.

It was our last morning on the big island and we needed a good breakfast and Caffee Florian popped up on Yelp as a nearby option with great reviews so we decided to check it out. Finding it was easy and there was parking right in front of the building. This cafe was super cute and had a lot of charm about it, a plus was we were able to sit on the patio deck after ordering and enjoy the views of the ocean and nature around. We even got so lucky as to see a few cute geckos which the kids loved seeing and trying to catch. Now for the service the two women working the front were super sweet. They had alot of different pastries to pick from as well as a make to order menu. My 3 kids went with an Italian soda, hot chocolate and a vanilla steamer, the adults had an iced vanilla latte and a chai. For food we ordered lox and bagel, a turkey and provolone panani, a yogurt parfait and then we got some sweet treats from the cream puff, to brownie, lillikoi bar, and a peanut butter bar( which was a huge Reeses). Everything tasted amazing my personal favs were the lox bagel and the lillikoi bar. If you're ever in the area and on the look out for a great cafe this is the spot to stop at.

The sweetest gem in the area. The view is breathtaking and the coffee is divine. A little breakfast before our hike and it made me feel right!

Beautiful little spot we found! Small parking lot out front and a cute patio in the back to sit at! We got 2 breakfast sandwiches, a smoothie, and a blended coffee. The fruit that came with our breakfast was so good and fresh! I'm glad we found this hidden gem!

Toasted plain bagel with plain cream cheese spread, Topped with macadamia nut pesto sauce and a sprinkle of sun dried tomatoes!

Friendly ladies behind the counter, nice indoor and outdoor seating, and great menu! Hot and cold meal choices, pastries, cookies and so many goodies to choose from.

A nice quiet place to feast but also relax and enjoy a beverage or coffee. The staff, although busy, very friendly and welcoming. My all time favorite is their Panini Caprese. So savory, so flavorful I have had it on several occasions . Highly recommend. Close your eyes and bite into the panini after dipping it in the balsamic dip or the garlic dip. Immediately you will feel like you are at a cafe in Italy maybe on the Amalfi coast. Only thing missing is the ocean breeze off the Mediterranean Sea. 10 out of 10 I also ordered an everything bagel with salmon capers and pickled onions. 9 out of 10. A Chicken panini for my wife. Very tasty. Well made. 9 out of 10. If you're in Kona and don't want a huge meal but looking for a satisfying one, stop here and grab the Caprese Panini. Kimo

This coffee shop is located in a small plaza with a pizza place, taco spot, and Merriman's. The plaza itself has plenty of parking even when it's on the busier side on a weekend morning, so it's not hard to find a spot. Inside the cafe, there's a retail section that sells clothing and small goods, and a separate side to place your order and sit and enjoy your drink. The interior is bright and welcoming with a minimalist vibe, and even when we visited on a weekend morning, it was easy to find seating either indoors or outdoors. Service was wonderful -- we were helped promptly by staff, and my drink came out quickly. I got the black sesame latte with a chocolate chip cookie. I thought my drink was perfect, as the flavor of the black sesame was nutty, pleasant, and just the right amount of sweetness paired with the espresso. The cookie was on the softer/puffier side, and although it's not my preferred texture, it wasn't too bad! To sum up, I really enjoyed dropping by to get coffee here, and I feel like the quality of the drinks at Surf Camp is consistent across their different locations. I'll definitely come back if I ever find myself on Big Island for another trip!

Breakfast options outside of Piko are getting into your car and driving out or having access to the Voyager 47 club. Captive audience we were. During our stay we ate or drank, Lox bagel, Avocado toast, Macadamia nut croissant, Ham cheese croissant sandwich, Cold brew (decent) and Drip coffee (just ok). The lox bagel surprisingly came with a sizable amount of salmon. The bagel itself was nothing special, but the good size schmear of cream cheese had some herbs and spices mixed in. The schmear wasn't the kind you'll get in NYC where you have more cream cheese than bagel, but most people will be happy with the amount. The avocado toast was tasty, with a sizable amount of fresh avocado, arugula, halved tomatoes, and thinly sliced radish, over toasted bread, with a slice of orange and a strawberry. My better half loved the Macadamia nut croissant, being buttery with a large amount of cream dotted with mac nuts. The ham and cheese croissant was less buttery than the mac nut croissant, but had a good amount of warm melted cheese and ham. The cold brew was smooth and not bitter, with solid caffeine, being a good afternoon pick me up for a session in the adult pool. The drip coffee however was quite bitter and not to our liking. You can charge your room directly if you're a guest. 3.5 stars only for breakfast ala carte or the grab and go.
